Turbopass is a great choice for Athens! - This sounded like a great opportunity to see a lot of sites in Athens but I was nervous after seeing the negative reviews. I can say that I am glad that I did not pay attention to the negative reviews. My trip was the last week and a half in May. I purchased the 5-day Turbopass a week before we left and the email with the passes was sent within minutes for me to download. I read all of the documents and followed the requirement that I needed to go to the Acropolis first to start the pass for the other sites in the following days. I had no issue getting into the archeological sites or the museums and appreciated that with the Turbopass we did NOT need to wait on line to buy tickets then again wait in line to enter. I do not regret this purchase and would recommend the pass to others as well.

Really worth it (minus the hang ups) - The most memorable part of the tour was the Acropolis! We enjoyed exploring the site very much & would recommend this experience to everyone who plans to visit Athens. We did not like the lack of logistic info and felt that it should be forthcoming as to where to catch the hop on/off bus and what to look for. We also found it frustrating & confusing that the literature stated different times and days of used than what was initially understood. We were able to work through logistical problems and overall enjoy the tour.

USELESS AND NON-FUNCTIONAL - . A fruitless and unnecessary expenditure of money. Buy a combined pass for 6 days. The cropolis had it washed out in the middle of the trip. It didn't work anywhere except the acropolis. According to the company before the acropolis it did not work because it was activated. At no time was it reported) the pass on the day of the acropolis and was later valid for the rest of places. I didn't. I lost the pass money and had to pay wn all the museums and sights. I wrote again and his reply was protocol.
