Outstanding Experience with Athens City Pass - The Athens City Pass provided the best experience. We saw all the attractions such as Acropolis, Agora, museums and so much more. No waiting in line or being turned away for entrance tickets. Hop on Hop off Bus which was close to our hotel provided all transportation we needed while in Athens. We downloaded and printed everything and carried the two sets of tickets with us and were accepted everywhere. We saved a lot of money with this pass. Viator will continue to be a go to travel service as we visit the USA and the world. Thanks Viator!

Turbopass is a great choice for Athens! - This sounded like a great opportunity to see a lot of sites in Athens but I was nervous after seeing the negative reviews. I can say that I am glad that I did not pay attention to the negative reviews. My trip was the last week and a half in May. I purchased the 5-day Turbopass a week before we left and the email with the passes was sent within minutes for me to download. I read all of the documents and followed the requirement that I needed to go to the Acropolis first to start the pass for the other sites in the following days. I had no issue getting into the archeological sites or the museums and appreciated that with the Turbopass we did NOT need to wait on line to buy tickets then again wait in line to enter. I do not regret this purchase and would recommend the pass to others as well.

Really worth it (minus the hang ups) - The most memorable part of the tour was the Acropolis! We enjoyed exploring the site very much & would recommend this experience to everyone who plans to visit Athens. We did not like the lack of logistic info and felt that it should be forthcoming as to where to catch the hop on/off bus and what to look for. We also found it frustrating & confusing that the literature stated different times and days of used than what was initially understood. We were able to work through logistical problems and overall enjoy the tour.

Recognised everywhere but would be better value without the open top bus - We had no difficulty using the pass, it was recognised everywhere (although we didn’t gave the public transport option). It would hiwever be more convenient if it could be added to Apple Wallet or similsr. It offers access to the main historic sites, but also includes some smaller museums which offer both interest and variety, eg the ancient technology museum, the motir museum and the museum of illusions. It would be better value if there were an option to buy it without the open top bus tour, since this really isn’t good value in a small, traffic jammed city like Athens.

Potential scam. Avoid at all cost. - Incredibly misleading at best. A straight scam at worst. Most drivers, transit workers and guides don't even know what turbopass is. Nothing that was offered was legit. 1. There was no hop-on hop-off bus service that accepted or used turbopass. 2. The additional "public transport" ticket that you can pay for, which I did just in case, did not work and I had to buy a separate ticket for the metro and buses. 3. There were no services accepting turbopass which even went to the acropolis. 4. The acropolis ticket, the one thing that appeared legit, was rejected at the acropolis and I had to buy a second ticket there as well. When I contacted customer service to have them correct my ticket, they took 12 hours to respond. When I contacted them to ask for a refund, they responded within 2 minutes telling me to go f**k myself. Paraphrasing... Do NOT use Turbopass for anything. If you feel compelled to do so, do NOT rely on it.

USELESS AND NON-FUNCTIONAL - . A fruitless and unnecessary expenditure of money. Buy a combined pass for 6 days. The cropolis had it washed out in the middle of the trip. It didn't work anywhere except the acropolis. According to the company before the acropolis it did not work because it was activated. At no time was it reported) the pass on the day of the acropolis and was later valid for the rest of places. I didn't. I lost the pass money and had to pay wn all the museums and sights. I wrote again and his reply was protocol.
