Superb Experience - What a treat! This was an amazing experience on every level. Vasia, the teacher was informative, enthusiastic and great fun. Loved it, learning how to prepare traditional Greek dishes slap bang in the central market district. Highly recommend.

A real treat in Athens! - The cooking class was one of the highlights of our days in Athens! The markets were lively and colorful on New Year’s Eve. Thomas, my Americanization of his name, kept our group together and kept us informed and entertained. The cooking portion of the class was great fun. I learned many tips that I will use in my own kitchen at home, and I can’t wait to re-create the recipes we made. Thank you, Greek Kitchen for some wonderful food and great memories!

Amazing cooking experience! - The cooking class was one of the first things we did on our trip to Athens and it was an amazing insight into the life of the city and the local cuisine. Antonia was a great teacher and showed us how to create a full Greek menu while telling us about ingredients and customs. You definitely won't leave hungry, very much recommend!

A taste of Greece - Thoroughly enjoyable cookery course. Well organised and great fun. We were taken to the fish market and fruit/veg markets to appreciate the quality of the local produce, which was a fascinating insight.

Great class! - The class was simply outstanding. The market was a nice addition and we enjoyed seeing the fresh proteins. The class was very well organized with time to get to know each other and learn about the dishes. There was plenty of time to prepare each dish without rushing. There was little time between the preparation of each course, just a really nice flow to the class. The dishes were completed and served at the same time and made for a delicious lunch. The chef was outstanding. A nice bit of humor with patience and good instruction. We would definitely recommend!!

Excellent "tour" if you have seen the usual sights. - Location is right next to the city’s major food market and flea market. Up a couple of flights (elevator is being “maintainanced”- for some time). Classroom = two tables for 10 each, although only 7 each this morning. Ebullient teacher, Onasis, I think. Intro and then off to the market for comments, chats, and the purchase of some ground beef for the dolmades. (Usual market: noise, smells, slops, etc.., but fun.) Back to school and had enjoyed fixing: spanakopita, dolmades, tzatziki, and “Imam Bayildi.” Roughly translated: “the Imam swooned; presumably because the eggplant recipe tasted so transcendently delicious to him. All were indeed delicious. Recipes are on website. (Also, made orange pie, but we left early for an appointment and did not taste).

Yummy food - We met at the classroom and when everyone arrived it was off to the market. Loved walking around and seeing the variety of items available. Nothing like this in the USA. Our class was very interesting. Each table works together to prepare the food as a group. The food we made and ate was delicious. Our chef was delightful. We would definitely take a cooking class again. I just wish we had received the recipes to take with us instead of being directed to the website.

A excellent way to spend a morning or afternoon in Athens - Such a fun thing to do in Athens! The food was very typical Greek home cooking and some of the best food I ate in Athens. Instructions were easy to follow and my group were all there for a good time and we had lots of laughs. Loved it
