Great tour Great tour guide - Wife and I did the ultimate tasting tour direct with Athens Food On Foot, I highly recommend this tour and this company. The guide was great, the stops were mostly very good, Greek super food stop being the sole exception. I would still say try everything be open minded. Very good food tour, great guide. Would recommend the morning tour as opposed to the afternoon tour I took, since it's starting to get really warm.

Great dive into Athens food and food culture! - Wow! We have enjoyed food tours around the world, but we have never had more tastings or a better overview of local food culture. Lefteris and Maria gave us their undivided attention for four hours (!), leading us through Plaka and Monastiraki eatieries we would never have found on our own. We started with local snacks, then beverages, then appetizers, then groceries, then a wonderful taverna, then two different dessert stops. I highly recommend doing this tour as soon as you get to Athens, so you know how to navigate the food scene the rest of your stay. I also recommend the evevning tour - when Athens is at its most lively and beautiful.

Great experience - Fun way to learn about Greece and explore Athens. The food was diverse and amazing. Highly recommend even for picky eaters!

Dinner with friends. - We LOVED it! Ava is now a friend for life! She toured us around as dinner with a close friend. The sights and food were amazing, but spending the evening with Ava and my husband was the best part! I HIGHLY recommend! Thank you!

Great company and great food! - I highly recommend this food tour over and over again! Yiannis was our guide for the evening and was awesome! Everything went perfectly and the food was amazing! My husband and I would definitely go again if we are ever back in Greece. We did this on our first night there and it was the best choice to get to know Athens and the food!

Fun night in Athens - John was extremely knowledgeable about the food and explained everything that we were eating. He was also very knowledgeable about the area we were walking through on our way from Restaurant to Restaurant.

Great way to start an Athens trip! - fantastic evening tour with Eva- it was our first night in Athens and it was a really good but light touch way of getting moving / walking around after being stuck on a plane, helps you get your Athens bearings as well as taste all the lovely Greek specialities and learn some history/meet some lovely restaurant owners. Our guide was Eva who is an absolute star and lovely person! We had a great, friendly, fun group but Eva’s information, humour and warm energy made it such a highlight for us (my sister and me) in Athens. if you’re up for it you can also take in some nice bars and go Salsa dancing after the tour. great fun thoroughly recommend this tour with Eva!!

What a Blast - We have taken a lot of walking tours but this one with the added food testing and tasting was an unbelievable good time. Our guide Katarina was so knowledgeable and funny we just loved her. The information she gave us was an added bonus as far as I was concerned. The food was outstanding and lots of it. I highly recommend this tour.

Athens Food on Foot tour - The evening tour with our host Katerina was outstanding. Katerina is very enthusiastic and passionate about Athens and Greek food which was delicious and in abundance throughout the tour. Highly recommend.

Not value for money and sadly the tour guide was not truly interested in our group. - Unfortunately we had a terrible experience with Athens food on foot evening tour. We were two couples and another 4 women joined us on this tour. Sadly We all felt exactly the same!! This is not value for money and you are far better to roam the streets yourself and taste what excellent food Athens has to offer. Our guide was not engaged in our group, she would not or could not recommend a restaurant for us to dine at the following night and she’s a food tour guide. When we asked her questions she would answer very condescending. An example of this is my friend asked “what is this wall, it looks very old and quiet significant “ the guide responded it’s just a wall. The very next day we found out it was the wall of the oldest house in Athens!! The tour was so bad that we all agreed to finish it 40min early as we could not find our guide. Not impressive and certainly not what we expected.
