True foodie tour, the best we ever had! - What an excellent food tour. Valentini is a super host and knows Athens inside out! All the foods were so so good. Value was excellent. We visited 3 different neighborhoods and met friendly people. Would highly recommend this tour group to anyone who enjoys good stories and lots of delicious eats. Don't hesitate. Join them!

One of the best food tours I've done - I can't recommend this tour highly enough. We didn't stop eating for 5 hours. Valentini was a brilliant guide who conducted a relaxed but informative tour of several districts in Athens. Most of the stops were at Long established family businesses. Valentini was funny, engaging and made the tour accessible and fun for everyone

Was lucky to have this guide to myself. she made the tour designed around my preferences. Her English was exceptional - Wonderful guide who listened to my preferences and had wonderful English and moved at my pace(I am 70) and it was very hot

Great assortment, good pace, knowledgeable and fun host! - Great assortment of tasty experiences from olive oil tasting to local pies and sweet delicacies.
Super host, with fantastic insights and solid knowledge of the origin and customs related to local food.
Great pace of walking. Not too fast, not too long.
A lovely opportunity for bonding with the Team and knowing the hidden treasures of our own cities.

Exploring gems in Athens! - I had the most amazing experience with Athens Bites. We 've explored some cute gems all over the city center and tested delicious greek food. The portions were more than my belly could stand so no worries, your belly will be full and happy afterwards! Looking forward to experience this again. Valentini rocks the Athenian food scene!

A fantastic introduction to Athens food culture. - Wow! What a great day. We were lucky enough to have our tour guide Valentini all to ourselves and what a lovely soul she is. We learnt not only about Greek food, but also about Greek history and how it impacted the food culture. We also learnt where to eat for the rest of our stay… and where not to. The tour itself was really enjoyable and included many stops sampling pies, olives, honey, cheese, souvlaki, ice cream, etc etc. Some of the vendors we visited were real characters. The fresh markets were terrific too. All in all a great way to experience Athens through its fabulous food. Thanks Valentini.
PS: Do NOT eat breakfast before you do this tour!

Incredibile tour! - This incredible tour, was a great introduction to the city, the local cuisine and culture. Certainly recommend. The four hours plus tour flew by and we enjoyed amazing Greek food, while at the same time learning interesting facts and info about the food, the shops, the culture and the everyday life. Valentina was absolutely fantastic. We greatly appreciate her attentiveness and being equally engaged with all group members. Glad we did it on the first day!

Not to be missed tour! - Not to be missed tour!
One of the best tours I have ever done. The food stops were incredible, souvlaki wrap was one of the best things I have ever tried (still dreaming of it). Come hungry and pace yourself (if that’s possible). This tour ROCKS! Great service, great storytelling, value, experience – 5 starts all the way! Perfect tour to start my Greece trip.

Wonderful Experience - Amazing food, atmosphere, and experience. Our guide was excellent with lots of vibrancy, enthusiasm and had a wealth of knowledge with plenty of stories to keep us entertained. Some of the food chosen were items I would generally not just buy for myself, and they were so delicious it was truly a great travel experience. It’s a fun way to tour the backstreets of Athens and taste a little of everything. Thank you for such a great day.

Well worth and highly recommended! - I am Greek and a chef and I was very impressed with this food tour. I live abroad for many years and we decided with some friends to come to Greece for holidays. As the only Greek the planning was mainly handled by me. I opted for a food tour just for our company since I believe is the best way to explore a city, it’s food and vibe, without losing any time searching and moving “randomly” from one place to another. Our stay in Athens was short before heading to the islands thus the idea of a well-curated tour saved me a lot of time searching and planning. It was the best decision I could have make. All my friend, including myself were very happy with everything. Every selection of venue and food was top notch. Our host was incredibly engaging and warm. Excellent value for the time and money spent.
