First night in Athens - Like many others, I did this tour my first night in Athens. Definitely the way to go! Got to see different neighborhoods and try local and authentic food. Almost can’t believe what we got for the price. Our tour guide, Pascal, was so sweet and knowledgeable. Come hungry and pace yourself! Would recommend.

A Must Do in a New City - This food tour was a perfect activity for our first night in Athens! My husband and I chose this tour because we wanted to try a variety of foods, check out different areas of Athens, and do something new. We had so much fun that now we want to do a food tour anytime we visit a major European city! We went to 5 different places for food: meat, cheeses, and wine; Greek pies (think like Spanokipita); gyros; family-style dinner with wine or beer; dessert - baklava. COME HUNGRY!!! Penelope was an amazing host - so warm, informative, and did a great job hosting us all. We had a really nice group of people as well on our tour - representing 4 different continents, and it was so cool to get to know people from all over. Thank you!!

Excellent trip - Our guide Katerina was excellent! We enjoyed all our stops especially the charcuterie! We saw a lot of Greek nightlife and tried lots of different dishes in a leisurely manner! Katerina was also brilliant in getting us an Uber at the end of the walk and stayed with us until it arrived!

Amazing food tour around Athens - This tour was absolutely fantastic. Our To guide was the fabulous Lucas, he was friendly and bubbly and was able to share some history of Athens as we were walking around. The food, the wine, the honey, the liquor and the food was so delicious. It was great to stroll through the markets too. Thank you Lucas for such an amazing experience. Xx

Great tour! - Eva was a great guide and very knowledgeable on the food and history of Athens. We sampled koulouri, spanikopita (spinach pie) and bougatsa (chicken pie). Then we visited a family owned honey shop and sampled lots of local honeys. We went on a Sunday when much of the local market stores were closed, but the honey shop was luckily open! Then we visited a small meat and cheese shop for Meze. We had a large spread of traditional cheeses and meats, raki, and local wines. Then, we had lunch at a historic restaurant and sampled a variety of appetizers and main courses. We finished the tour tasting loukoumades, a typical Greek dessert similar to a doughnut hole. Eva was a wonderful host, she was very organized, professional, and kind. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in trying the food of Athens!

Sub par - We’ve gone on multiple food tours while traveling and the key to a good one is all about the authenticity of the places, the foods being local and not where all the tourist groups go, and understanding the history of their culinary makeup. This one missed the mark. It is frustrating to pay to feel like you’ve gone to “tourist traps” where you’re pressured to buy their products. This was 2 out of the five stops. It also left wanting on the food selections. There were so many foods we heard about that we were hopeful to learn about and a majority of the time was spent on the honey (tourist trap) and a butcher with a charcuterie board (tourist trap.) the last restaurant was almost inedible, but had the view. We were amongst other tourists so nothing felt like we got a real taste of Greece.
