So full after all the Wonderful food!! - This tour was so much fun! A small group of both young and not-as-young people who were all very engaging. Our tour guide, Maria-Katerina, was charming, informative, and very gracious answering all our questions! English was perfect and easily understood. So much delicious food: gyros, authentic Greek coffee, traditional ‘donuts’, olive oil tasting with noshes, bread from a traditional bakery, and finishing off with a local tavern for tapas-style meal. Forgot to mention the ‘pretzel’ stop we made that is open all night and a great place to get a late night snack. We went to a variety of old and new neighborhoods that included beautiful shops, fish and meat markets, and down a street with wonderful smells of spices for sale. Maria-Katerina provided a wonderful narrative of how Greeks eat and shop and the how/why of the traditional foods. I highly recommend this tour! Thank you Maria!!

What better way to experience Greek culture if not through the food ) - Andreas-our wonderful tour guide was fantastic, he took us to the best authentic food stops and shared some history lessons with us and it was well done - not boring but informative and well customized to meet even the highest of expectations. We wondered through the streets of Athens and had an opportunity to visit a very nice mom and pop taverna, and do olive oil tasting paired with local jam’s and cheeses , try gyro’s and tsipouro and eat lokoumoudes with honey for desert, and still we had so much more to try -the small food platter and wine red and white tasting from the barrel ( this was extra ) but the owner of the restaurant didn’t charge us for it - we were so stuffed at the end and happy nevertheless! What an amazing tour, def a must , highly recommend-you will thank me later! )))

Wonderful Food Tour with Andreas - Had the most wonderful tour trying many different local foods and at the same time finding out so many historical facts about the areas we were visiting. Andreas our guide was extremely knowledgeable and personable and made the tour feel like a great morning out with a new bunch of friends. It was a great way of visiting the different localities of Athens and try foods not tried before and So much food we could not finish last meal. Do not eat breakfast you will be full and we cannot recommend this tour enough. Thank you for such a wonderful experience.

No Empathy for the tourists. Terrible costumer assistance!! - Terrible costumer assistance!! I am writing here so another tourist won’t make the same mistake and pay for no experiences at this event. Pay attention! Apparently the meeting point has the same address in Athen as in Piraeus for which Uber driver confused it with Piraeus and ended up in Piraeus. We never ended up doing this activity yet this company could care less they never refunded us for the activity we did not attend. Some Iro person could care less even though I explained our situation.
