While on the Acropolis, you’ll be able to visit such world-renowned sites as the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erectheion with its famous supporting columns in the shape of draped maidens (the caryatids), and finally, one of the most famous temples in human history, the Parthenon itself.
  • Temple of Olympian Zeus - The Temple of Olympian Zeus, also known as the Olympieion or Columns of the Olympian Zeus, is a former colossal temple at the centre of the Greek capital, Athens. It was dedicated to “Olympian” Zeus, a name originating from his position as head of the Olympian gods.
  • Panathenaic Stadium - The Panathenaic Stadium or Kallimarmaro is a multi-purpose stadium in Athens, Greece. One of the main historic attractions of Athens, it is the only stadium in the world built entirely of marble
  • Kolonaki / Lykavittos - Mount Lycabettus, also known as Lycabettos, Lykabettos or Lykavittos, is a Cretaceous limestone hill in the Greek capital Athens. At 277 meters above sea level, its summit is the highest point in Central Athens and pine trees cover its base
  • Tomb of the Unknown Soldier - The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier is a war memorial located in Syntagma Square in Athens, in front of the Old Royal Palace. It is a cenotaph dedicated to the Greek soldiers killed during war. It was sculpted between 1930 and 1932 by sculptor Fokion Rok. The tomb is guarded by the Evzones of the Presidential Guard.
  • Akadimia (Academy) - City drive to the Athenian Trilogy (the national Academy, the philosophycal school of Athens and the National Library)

Fantastic two days in Athens with Lambros - We had a private tour for two days with Lambros. He is knowledgeable and fun and allowed us to design what we wanted to do. We went to the Acropolis Museum, Zeus’s temple, the Olympic Stadium and Aristotle’s school. We also drove around the old port and the Agora, and up to the highest point in the city. We had prepaid passes for everything through our hotel. Lambros was full of fun information without nattering on nonstop which some guides do. We liked him so much we hired him for a second day to take us to the Temple of Poseidon at the tip of Cape Sunion an hours drive out of Athens. Later we spent the afternoon at a beach. Lambros was the perfect guide for us and we feel so fortunate to have stumbled upon him!

Lambros the great - Lambros is the best tour guide that we have ever experienced. His stories are captivating and he had an addicting personality. Lambros is funny, sweet, very knowledgeable, and much much more. You could not ask for a better guide or someone who knows more than him. He is not only a guide but a future friend. In about a day he’s become family. Best tour ever!

Wonderful day in Athens - Prior to our trip to Greece we had several email conversations with Lambros about his tour. Lambros replied promptly with our answers. He also gave us information on getting our tickets online prior to arriving. Lambros picked us up on time and returned us to our ship. Lambros and his vehicle were neat and clean. Lambros was informative and we learned a lot about Greek history along with information about the locations we visited. If we returned to Athens and needed any form of transportation I would use Lambros.
