ARIS historical great adventures - We were in Athens for the day and Aris provided us with a wonderful excursion. With his knowledge and expertise of the city he took us to all of our destinations in a timely manner. We were impressed with his historical knowledge and witty conversation. Very knowledgeable and pleasant tour/driver guide - Our guide Aris was totally an excellent driver/guide. He was very thorough, attentive, pleasant, and made you feel safe comfortable and almost like a part of your family. The full day tour with him gave us just absolutely amazing and gave us enough knowledge about Athens. Very informed and knowledgeable about history and places to go. Even with the heat, he made sure we had enough water and in and out of the car comfortably. Wish all the tour/driver was like him. Totally recommend him next time anyone would like a tour guide.

A must do trip - Aris is a superstar - A fantastic trip, Aris was amazing from start to finish. Communication via whatsapp was easy and meant we knew straight away that the road to our hotel was closed and the minibus could not pick us up as originally planned - no fault of the tour company at all - these things happen and it was easily overcome - we walked down to meet Aris and he was super friendly and greeted us warmly like long lost family! The minibus was very modern and comfortable with much needed air con and cold water. The trip itself was everything we could have hoped for, we visited all the main attractions starting at the Acropolis, the ancient market at Agora, Hadrians library, Temple of Zeus, the Olympic stadium, the changing of the guard at the Presidential Palace before heading up to Mount Lycabettus for stunning views of the city and finishing up at the Acropolis museum. Importantly we were able to go at our own pace, the company had pre bought entrance tickets meaning we avoided the long queues. A simple text when were nearly finished and Aris was waiting at the exit to pick us up and move on to the next attraction. Everything worked smoothly and easily. In between times Aris showed us lots of other areas of interest such as the ancient grave yard, the statue of Alexander, the famous trilogy of Athens and many others including a stop for lunch at a local restaurant (highly recommend the lamb kebab, although 4 was a large portion!) All the attractions are visually stunning but it was Aris enthusiasm and knowledge that really made the trip so good and i would highly recommend booking this trip and hope that you also have the pleasure of having Aris take you round, he really was fantastic. The highlight of our holiday.
