• Acropolis - Sightseeing in Athens begins with a drive under the Acropolis hill. On this historic hill, you’ll have the chance to see the Odeon of Herodes Atticus, the Temple of Athena Nike, the monumental gateway (Propylaea), the Erechtheum, and of course, the renowned Parthenon, the main temple dedicated to the virgin goddess Athena. You can stroll around the sacred hill.

• Propylaea - The Propylaea serves as the grand entrance to the sacred area dedicated to Athena, the city’s patron goddess. Designed by the architect Mnesicles using Pentelic marble, its design was ahead of its time. To the southwest of the Propylaea, on a rampart protecting the main entrance to the Acropolis, stands the Ionian temple of Apteros Nike.

• Parthenon - The Parthenon is the main temple dedicated to the virgin goddess Athena. It symbolizes Athenian Democracy and Western civilization.

• Erechtheion - This temple is dedicated to Poseidon and Athena and is considered the most peculiar and sacred site in ancient Athens.

• Temple of Athena Nike - A temple dedicated to the goddess Athena Nike, also known as Wingless Victory.

• Temple of Olympian Zeus - After visiting the Acropolis, we will proceed to the Temple of Zeus via Hadrian’s Arch and admire the largest temple of antiquity dedicated to the King of the Gods.

• Panathinaiko Stadio - We will visit the Panathenaic Stadium, where the first modern Olympic Games were held in 1896.

• The Academy of Athens - The Academy Building is one of three parts of an “architectural trilogy.” It was established by the Constitutional Decree of March 18, 1926, as an Academy of Sciences, Humanities, and Fine Arts.

• National and Kapodistrian University of Athens - The National and Kapodistrian University of Athens is the largest state institution of higher education in Greece and one of the largest universities in Europe.

• National Library of Greece - Built at the end of the 19th century, the National Library of Greece is the last of the Architectural Trilogy of Athens, which also includes the Academy and the University.

• Hellenic Parliament - The Hellenic Parliament, known in Greek as Voulí ton Ellínon, is the parliament of Greece. It is located in the Old Royal Palace, overlooking Syntagma Square in Athens. The Parliament is the supreme democratic institution representing citizens through an elected body of Members of Parliament.

• Tomb of the Unknown Soldier - We will witness the changing of the guard (Euzones) in front of the old palace, now the Parliament House, above Athens’ central square.

• Plateia Syntagmatos - Syntagma Square is the central square of Athens, named after the Constitution that Otto, the first King of Greece, was compelled to grant following a popular and military uprising on September 3, 1843.

• Monastiraki - Monastiraki is a flea market neighborhood in Athens’ old town and one of the city’s main shopping districts. The area features clothing boutiques, souvenir shops, and specialty stores, making it a major tourist attraction.

• Bay of Zea - After a 30-minute drive from Athens, we arrive in Piraeus city. Bay Zea marina, located in Piraeus, is one of the finest superyacht marinas in the Mediterranean. This port has a rich ancient history as a Naval base where the fleet of triremes was built. Ruins of the ancient walls of the base can still be found in the marina. The Naval Museum of Greece is also located in Zea marina.

• Mikrolimano - Overlooking the Saronic Gulf, with an island-like atmosphere, moored fishing boats, and numerous restaurants and cafes, Mikrolimano offers a vibrant seascape. It is one of the finest places in Piraeus and a popular tourist area in Attica.

• Herod Atticus Odeon - The Odeon of Herodes Atticus is a stone Roman theater located on the southwest slope of the Acropolis of Athens, Greece. Completed in 161 AD and renovated in 1950.

• Theater of Dionysus - The Theatre of Dionysus Elefthereus is a major theatre in Athens, considered the world’s first theatre, built at the foot of the Athenian Acropolis.

• Arch of Hadrian - The Arch of Hadrian, commonly known in Greek as Hadrian’s Gate, is a monumental gateway resembling a Roman triumphal arch. It spanned an ancient road from the center of Athens to the complex of structures on the eastern side of the city, including the Temple of Olympian Zeus.
