The Tour Company to Use for Athens - Olive Sea Travel was an amazing way to see Athens. We booked them for a full day private tour during a port stop in early June. We also added a private guide. They were simply wonderful. Our tour included the Temple of Zeus, the Olympic Stadium, the Agora, the Acropolis, the Acropolis museum, a drive by of some other important sites, other stops for photo ops, a coffee break, lunch, and more. I really couldn't have asked for more from them. They picked us up promptly from the cruise port and whisked us on our way in a private vehicle. The guide was incredibly knowledgeable, and our driver was very friendly. They really knew which things to emphasize on the tour. Plus, it was great having our own airconditioned vehicle to come back to after each stop. As we were on a cruise, they were very conscious of getting us back to the ship on time. Our schedule was juggled a little to maximize our time in Athens and guarantee we got back to the port before the all aboard time. I'd definitely use them again should I find myself in Athens.

A Delightful Historical Tour in Athens - The tour was delightful. I visited essential and historical sites in Athens. The vehicle used was very comfortable and excellent. My guide, Terry, was very kind and pleasant. Terry had an exceptional knowledge of Greek history. Discussing the places we visited and their history with him was a pleasure. Terry also provided some tips on exciting places to visit. Additionally, the lunch was delicious.

AWESOME Tour & Guide!!😃 - Our guide was a rock star, from the moment he picked us up until he dropped us off 14 hours later! We saw all of the historic sites, had a very scenic drive along the coast and had wonderful meals, along the way. Our guide’s knowledge, friendliness & professionalism was worth everything!

Great day in Athens - Sunday was a great guide and host. Got us in and out of the big sites quickly. Shared so much interesting info without overwhelming us. Would highly recommend the experience for anyone.

Excellent option - I think having a private guide was perfect for my son and I The driver was very knowledgeable at everything we ask for. He will drop us of very close to all the activities and we didn't have to deal with a large group of people in a tour. We are doing another private tour again because we like it so much

Best Tour!! Highly recommend Yianis!! - Great communication with meeting time prior to tour!! Excellent guide and info before each stop! Acropolis at 8:30 am started out day and WOW!! Followed by stops at all the places with time to look around at each! Lunch was so delicious and relaxing. Yianis even stopped so we could watch the changing of the guard at the Presidential Palace! Overall the best day in Athens we could have asked for, especially with the extreme heat!

Awesome private tour of Athens with an Aussie! - Had a fantastic day with Tes touring the top sites of Athens! So VERY, VERY happy we opted for a private tour. The heat, crowds, and traffic of Athens are not something to navigate in July alone or with a large group. Dropoffs off at the doorstop of each venue at exactly the right moment saved the day: only 15 minutes in line at the Acropolis, 2 minutes before changing of guards, and hidden entrance to new museum. Tes even went to the new Acropolis museum on our behalf to wait in line for tickets while we had an air-conditioned Greek lunch. Ask for Tes, the Aussie, from Greek heritage, for a great day! When you book, I would highly recommend the morning tour. Tes had the 8-9am entrance tickets for the Acropolis when we met him - something I could not secure online alone. If I would modify anything, it would be to request a 730 am pickup to arrive at the Acropolis at 8am. We climbed at 845am and it was already 90s and wall-to-wall people!
