• Filellinon - The exact meeting point is at the corner of Fillelinon 16 and Navarchou Nikodimou streets in central Athens, outside the “NEW” Hotel.

The pickup time may vary based on the availability of Acropolis admission slots and can be scheduled anytime between 08:30 and 09:00. You will receive a notification 24 to 48 hours before your booked tour date.

• Acropolis - The Acropolis of Athens and the Parthenon, both universal symbols of classical spirit and civilization, dominate the center of the modern city, offering panoramic views perfect for photos. This is something you don’t want to miss, so you may inform our tour leader and buy a skip-the-line ticket for the Acropolis hill. You will meet the licensed tour guide at the entrance of the Acropolis, who will guide you through the 5th-century BC monuments of the Acropolis, the most accurate reflection of the splendor, power, and wealth of ancient Athens at its peak. This will be an insider’s view of the “golden age of Perikles.”
• Temple of Olympian Zeus - The panoramic tour will start by passing the Temple of the “Olympian Zeus,” which used to have 104 colossal columns and one of the largest cult statues in the ancient world. “Hadrian’s Arch” stands there as well, a masterpiece of symmetry. You will hear our guide tell you everything about the monument and the life of the famous Roman emperor Hadrian.
• Parthenon - While on the Acropolis hill, you will visit the cradle of the classical ages and experience live commentary from your official guide. The “Parthenon,” dedicated to the goddess Athena, is a masterpiece of the Classical Ages and dominates the Acropolis complex.
• Panathenaic Stadium - The Panathenaic Olympic Stadium, also known as the “Kallimarmaron Stadium,” will be the first stop on our panoramic tour. This historic venue hosted the first modern Olympic Games in 1896. We will have a brief stop here for photos, and your guide will provide background information about the stadium.
• The Academy of Athens - Capture the essence of Athens’ splendor with a photo stop at the majestic Academy of Athens. This is the first of the famous Athenian Trilogy of Classical Architecture buildings, followed by the Athens University and the National Library.
• Plaka - Explore Plaka and the Old Town, where history comes alive. Discover cozy cafes, charming shops, and ancient landmarks like Anafiotika and the Lysicrates Monument. You will stroll around the narrow alleys and hear stories of the traditional area, which has been inhabited for more than 2000 years.
• Ancient Agora of Athens - This part will allow you to explore Athens on foot, starting from lively Thisio, passing through bustling Monastiraki, and ending in charming Plaka. Along the way, catch sight of ancient marvels like the Agora and the Temple of Hephaestus from the outside. Snap panoramic shots of the Stoa of Attalos and the Roman Forum with its famous Tower of the Winds. You will stroll through Plaka’s quaint streets, soaking in the city’s timeless charm and rich history.
• National and Kapodistrian University of Athens - Capture the essence of Athens at the National University building, a proud symbol of learning on our tour. It’s a perfect spot for a photo stop, so take a moment to snap a photo and admire its grand design. Feel the history and knowledge that fill this impressive place.
• National Library of Greece - Experience the charm of Athens at the National Library, a treasure trove of knowledge on our tour. Pause here for a photo stop, capturing the beauty of this historic landmark.
• Change of Guards - Continue to the Royal Palace of Athens, which has hosted the Parliament since 1934, and watch the famous changing of the presidential guards and the Monument of the Unknown Soldier. As soon as the ceremony finishes, you will continue to visit three of the most beautiful buildings Athens has to offer: the University of Athens, the Athenian Academy, and the National Library.
