A remarkable experience! - Our tour guide, Christina (I hope I got her name right?) was amazing! Not only did she have so much historical knowledge of Greece, the history and myths of Acropolis and Parthenon, and the ancient structures at the site and inside the museum, she also answered all our questions and was patient with us, letting us take our time to enjoy the views as we ascend to the top. We had someone in our group who has mobility issues and she made sure the person wasn’t left behind, constantly checking to make sure the person was okay, and just slowing down long enough for everyone to stay together and others to catch up. Somehow she managed to do all that with hundreds of sightseers and visitors in a 21 degrees Celsius temperature! We truly appreciate her kindness and the kindness of everyone in the (purple) group. It was a remarkable experience!

Excellent Acropolis tour - Our tour guide Yanas was very professional and shared great information at the Acropolis. He also managed the group well so that the walk up didn’t seem difficult. At the museum, he did a great job translating the exhibits to what we had just seen at the Acropolis and Parthenon. He helped narrow the focus so that it was a meaningful and memorable experience.

10 out of 10, especially with Alexia as guide. - Would highly recommend this to your itinerary for Athens, and would insist on requesting the tour guide Alexia. As an educated archaeologist, welcoming, and highly passionate guide could not have gotten any more lucky to experience this amazing wonder of the world with Alexia.

Best time to visit Acropolis - I was spellbound with Madeline Miller's "Circe" and the tragic drama of Patroclus’ death in “Achilles.” Then I got hooked to History Hit's "The Ancients" podcast, which I regularly listen to on my way to work, igniting a torch for Greek stories of the Olympian gods who governed earth, sea, and sky. Now, standing beneath the Athenian sun, I'm finally walking the stories I devoured and the podcasts I listen to while driving. Today, I climb the sacred rock, where the Parthenon, Pericles' masterpiece, stands magnificently in honor of Athena's patronage. Every weathered stone breathes myths, every step a pilgrimage. I feel privileged and grateful to be in the exact place where these stories originate. Best time to come is winter when the crowds are few and the weather is cool. I can’t imagine enjoying this under the scorching sun with dense crowds elbowing you left and right.

A must do tour - Had a wonderful tour thanks to out tour guide Antigoni. She was great as she paced the tour just right so we could all climb up to the Parthenon. It’s a steep climb but she made it possible with some paced stops. Further she explained all the history which if I had to do it on my own would take a long time. Wonderful tour highly recommend it and ask for Anti as she will make sure you had a good tour. Thanks.

In depth personal tour of Acropolis - Our guide was well versed and shared a full history to accompany our tour of the Parthenon and Acropolis including the Acropolis museum. The pace was great and we did not feel rushed which allowed us to take in the breathtaking view at every stop along the tour. Outstanding deep dive into Greek history with an explanation of the tie ins to Greek mythology and symbolism of Greek Gods. Would highly recommend to couples, solo travelers, friends, coworkers.

Good walking tour with so much history to learn - Good tour, very pleasant tour guide. Only complaint is we had to switch our tour date due to flight delays. Viator was very helpful, but the company actually giving the tours was not. They let us in, but we’re less than pleasant about it and we didn’t end up getting the lunch that we paid for as part of the tour.
