BREATHTAKING VIEWS OF METEORA - We had a great one day trip and from start to finish it was on time. The trip guide Stacy was very professional and gave clear and detailed information on the sites. The view in Meteora was breathtaking. Also the price we got online booking was a good deal compared to other operators.

A day of breathtaking views and cultural wonders - We purchased the tour directly from the Meteora Thrones website, and the confirmation with all the details and information arrived in our email incredibly fast, providing a great sense of security. We opted for the one-day Meteora tour in English with a train, but due to significant floods in Athens, the journey was made by bus. All of this was explained perfectly in the email. Although the trip was long, it would have been the same duration if taken by train. The good part was that the bus was very comfortable and new, equipped with WiFi (which worked quite well) and USB ports to charge our phones. This was super useful as it's a long day filled with activities and photo opportunities, and you wouldn't want to run out of battery. The tour itself was fantastic, with breathtaking views, especially on the exceptionally beautiful day we had. The three monasteries we visited were incredible, especially the first two. Keep in mind that the choice of when to take the tour matters, as some monasteries have specific days when they are closed. A heads-up is that there are dress codes to follow for entry, something that is also detailed in the email. Our guide Maria spoke perfect English, was super friendly, and provided a lot of information and explanations throughout the tour. Moreover, the timing was perfect to reach a beautiful point in Meteora for the sunset. Highly recommend this tour; we enjoyed it immensely.

Rain in Meteora - During the entire trip it was raining and very cold, however, our guide made it a wonderful trip, he took us to places where we could take incredible photos. Entering the monasteries was very beautiful. Thank you!

An unforgetable tour - There was no train so the trip from Athens to Meteora and back was by bus. I must recommend this tour because it is very interesting, the visit included three monasteries and is amazing how those monasteries were built so many years ago. The views are excellent, specially for those fans of photography. It is a tour that you cann´t miss.

Great! - The trip from Athens is tired because it is 4 hours bus one way plus another four return, but worth it, the site is a pass and the guide very majestic:)

Poor organization - Poorly organized, children under 4 years old do not have a seat on the bus and it is very uncomfortable to travel 4h with a child on top (they do not warn or offer solution). They don't explain stop plans, times, etc... you'll find it on the go... The places where stops are made are really expensive...

Dismal excursion - We started the experience very well a bus that arrives at the agreed time and place. We get on the coach and make a stop halfway through about 30 minutes, which is appreciated to get out of the coach, stretch our legs and go to the sink. From here they take us to the foot of Meteora (with a fault in the engine failure lights) to a restaurant to eat (we had the food paid for), it was a first course, second and if you did not take salad, you could get dessert, the drink only gets water, we wanted to get Coke but with the pack they do not let you. Once finished they put us on a huge coach and climb us towards the Great Meteor, along the way the Guide with very little grace tries to enliven the journey, they leave us a simple time to get on and off (if you do not hurry you do not see it) and they quote you at X hour in the place where they leave you (the guides do not accompany you stay down, as they do not let them in, so little explanation you have of the enclosures). Then they took us to 2 other monasteries that did not touch but as in the first one we went that in theory is the most difficult to access, X people arrived late because they struggled to get up and down changed our monasteries. They took us to 2 super small and with less difficulty. One of the good parts is that they make some stops along the way to see the landscape, which if you like the landscape better than the monasteries as I thank the truth.. When we finished all this I remembered that in the excursion I said that the last stop was a cave and as the Guide said that we were leaving, I reminded him, to which the solution was to show it in photos of his mobile (the excuse of not going was that as there were more people than he noticed we had been given the big bus and this one could not access there) so we were left wanting to see the caves. Before getting off the coach amazingly the question of the million Guide is if I am going back to Greece to become a private Tour Guide to which my answer was no and then he replied that then he did not give me his phone number, which I have not asked at any time .. Back to the restaurant where we ate to catch the coach back they changed our coach, gave us one that we stayed 20 minutes inside without working and without air conditioning or anything, gave failures. At last they managed to turn on the coach and took us 5h back with the worry that if it was going to work well or not and if we would arrive because we had 5 people checking the coach and us inside, people started getting out of the heat and scared by what was happening. The coach on the way back was from a Ferrari to a Seat Panda, the air was not working well, there was no room or anything. Back they also stopped around 8pm at the restaurant where we had breakfast and arrived on time at the return point. To my mind the visit was pretty lousy.
