Marvelous - Fabulous way to explore Athens. Frequent buses, lovely weather,and not too busy. Staff were very polite. Highly recommend.

Hop on hop off blue bus in Athens - Excellent way to see the city. Loved all the 3 routes. Great & helpful staff too. It was a little cold & the weather was not very cooperative. But the bus was great. Thanks

Happy Hop on Hop off bus tour. - The Hop on Hop off bus tour was exactly as advertised. We bought a ticket for one day and got two. We used the bus to see Athens extensively completing all three routes. Highly recommend this activity. Staff at stops and drivers were very helpfull.

A good walk through the city - It is the most complete and cheapest service but the explanations were a bit limited. Still it was worth it because it gave to have an overview of the city and rest your legs a little.

Traffic and timing - Traffic was so bad in Athens. From port it took over an hour to get the Parthenon. Our first stop. By the time we explored this amazing place we were afraid we would be late back to our ship. Not the fault of the hop on hop off. But a problem none the less.

Fine but ….. - A little chaotic in its organisation which did not fill us with confidence especially about getting a guaranteed departure back to cruise port in time so we cut our trip short and didn’t leave it to chance. Staff when approached were friendly.

Disappointed by this tour - Bus a little old not serious but the reviews are lame when the system works. Advantage walk a day without metro.

Disappointed - Unfortunately, this was not a good experience since I have booked with Viator MANY times and never had a bad experience until this purchase. It is not the Viator company’s fault but the company that ran the busses. We bought a two day ticket and only did one hour on one day. 1. On the one day, we were not told the tour was ending at a stop we did not know how far it was from our hotel… we were planning on getting off on the next stop… but… they ushered us off and stated “done”. It was the Easter weekend so they closed early. 2. We got to the Acropolis to use our pass for the 2nd day and was told to get in “line”… there were two lines. I asked, will this line take us to the beaches and the answer was yes… get in line. The line was quite long and when the bus came, the guide counted everyone on the line and when she came to us stayed “okay… to you”. We followed her to the bus and she said…”no, I said wait for the next bus”. She sent us back in line… but we then had to go to the end of the again! Keep in mind there are two lines and she kept stating get in line, When we moved again she asked which tour we wanted ( there were three different routes and two different lines) we said beaches. She said “you are not in the right line”! We were told again to get in the back of the line! I shared with her that we had now been there for 45 minutes and told to get into the “line” three times… we should not have to get in the back of the line again. She stated “ everyone is waiting too”. We then left. My recommendation: please have some signage! It was chaos! No one knew where to go… people were waiting in different lines and no one knew which line went where. If the company had put up some simple signs sharing which line was for which destination this would have helped. This was unfortunate for I bought 5 tickets and we only had an hour ride which didn’t even cover the entire route. For what it’s worth the BigBus seemed to have much better customer service and signage in this location.

Misled - When I bought the ticket, I told them I had a tour at the Acropolis at 3 o’clock. They told me I would have time to do the whole bus tour before and then do the tour and then they would take me back to the port. Once I got on, they said I would have to do the best tour after the Acropolis so I sat and waited for my tour. Afterwards, they told me that if I went on the bus tour, I would miss the last bus back to the port to board my cruise so basically all they did was give me a ride to the Acropolis for my tour and back.

Avoid it, terrible service - Reviews must be fake, the service is terrible and they make you wait 30 minutes in the sun when they sell tickets when you are on tour at certain stations.Also the service doesn't pass really often and the bus are quite dirty. I would really not recommend it
