Very pleasing street art tour - I enjoyed this tour with Kalliopi pretty much. She knows all the details of the arts and provided useful insider information for the city too. I liked to know the stories, the painting techniques and the philosophy of those artworks in streets of Athens.

Kalliopi - see you in my nest visit in Athens :) - The tour was a beautiful and interesting experience.
It is the best way to know and understand Athens's history and culture.
Kalliopi is professional and shares a lot of stories.
There is no way to see it alone.
If you visit Athens, take at list one tour.

Amazing street art tour with local guide - This tour was recommended by a friend and it didn’t disappoint! We were lucky enough to have a lovely guide (Athena) to ourselves and we saw so much amazing street art, we went to parts of Athens we would never have discovered on our own and learnt about the artists painting these fantastic pieces and also about the messages behind the art. Some simply mind blowing pieces. Our guide also taught us about Athenian modern culture and we saw various landmarks such as the central market, as well as having a lovely iced coffee stop at a sweet shady cafe complete with cat having a nap inside! This is one of the best value tours I’ve ever done and I highly recommend it, we learnt a lot, saw amazing art works and felt like we got an insight into what it’s like to live in Athens. Our guide was brilliant and put us at ease from the moment she greeted us.

Interesting and fun - We really enjoyed our street art tour. Our guide was lovely and very knowledgeable. We would definitely recommend this as a way to spend a morning in Athens learning about local culture and different neighbourhoods of the city.

Another Side of a Great City - When I travel, I love to experience both the food and art wherever I go. I couldn't have had a better experience learning about the city, it's artists and street art from Kallopi. We went all over the city and saw fascinating creations that took up entire walls and smaller pieces like the tributes to Madonna. I also learned some advice to take in my future travels to look up because I could be missing something beautiful.

Great Street Art in Athens - Our guide, the aptly named Athena, was warm, friendly, and very informative. The focus was on the street art—graffiti elevated in style and substance, usually quite political, hidden in nooks and crannies, down small alleys. She was also very informative about the neighborhoods we walked through, pointing out local restaurants, small museums, shops, and other places to return to and explore further. Glad company didn’t cancel us even though we were the only two on the tour.

Sophisticated street art - There’s a major difference between graffiti & real “street art”… our walking tour took us thru a few local towns as we viewed art works on the side of building w/ their local & political images. We strolled by shops, stores & bakeries (yummy) as we learned the history of Athens. Highly recommend this tour w/ Kalliaopi.
