Great overview of Athens’ main sights - Giannis was a great driver. Although this tour does not include a certified guide, he was knowledgeable, friendly, and answered our many questions. We enjoyed our time at the Acropolis and the Acropolis Museum. At the end of the tour, Giannis made us reservations at a wonderful restaurant with traditional Greek food, and we appreciated his food recommendations. We would recommend this tour to anyone wanting a quick overview of Athens’ main sights.

Fun day in Athens - Alex was a terrific tour guide providing the historical details as we traveled. We went to the Olympic stadium, watched the changing of the guards, a panoramic view of the city at Mount Lycabettus, Temple of Zeus and the Acropolis, followed by a drop off at our cruise port. It was a record hot 104 degree day but we persevered. Thanks for a memorable trip!

Truly the BEST OF ATHENS - This tour is perfect! We saw all the major highlights of Athens and also enjoyed a delicious lunch. Alex is courteous and extremely knowledgeable. He picked us up at our hotel in a clean, cooled suv with plenty of bottled water for our excursion. Alex is a local Athenian, a great driver and well-educated to give us a tour of the city. We self-guided through the Acropolis, slopes, and the museum. This is more our style and with Alex waiting for us outside each location, we had a cool car to climb inside as he drove us to all of the stops. Highly recommend!!

Great! - Alexander did a great job driving us to see the most important sights of Athens, while keeping us comfortable and cool.in the air-conditioned vehicle on a very hot day when the temps were well over 100 F. He went the extra mile to make contact with us when our international cell service wasn't working. He was very imformative, knowledgeable, and helpful.

George was great! - George Remoundos was an excellent tour guide and driver. He was polite and on time. He told us about each site and we appreciated his knowledge of the ancient sites. Can’t wait to book with him next time we are in Athens.

Great way to see Athens in a day - Nikos was our driver and tour guide and he was fabulous! He was knowledgeable and his passion for Greece and Greek history was obvious. The day was a miserable 40 C (104 F) so we were reluctant to do much walking and, nevertheless, he managed to make our tour great. I totally recommend this for people who would like to see all the major sites in Athens with a much more personable and informative experience than a taxi would provide. Thank you Nikos!

Great for short stays in Athens - It was just right for the short time we had in Athens. Got to see all the highlights without waiting for a crowded tour. George Remoundos was great and patient.

I feel misled by the description of this activity - The description of this activity promises that “you will deep dive into the culture and history with your guide”. That is NOT what happened. The driver pre-purchased our tickets (extra 30 Euro per person) and drove us to various points of interest, many of which are within walking distance of each other. We had to explore primarily on our own and google / hire other guides to actually understand the details of what we are looking at. I find it hard to call such activity a “tour” and certainly do not believe that it was worth anywhere near $430. Walking around and taking taxis would have been just as effective, and would have cost a fraction of the price.
