With an expert guide, explore the archaeological site at Delphi on a walking tour and learn about Ancient Greece while seeing the Sanctuary of Apollo and more. Travel through the picturesque towns of the Thessalian plains, and stay overnight in a 3- or 4-star hotel in Kalambaka, gateway to Meteora. The following day, explore two of Meteora’s beguiling cliff-top monasteries before making the journey back to Athens.
- A dress code is required to monasteries. No shorts or sleeveless tops allowed. Knees and shoulders MUST be covered for both men and women. You may risk refused entry if you fail to comply with these dress requirements

Excellent 2 Day Tour - Wonderful two day tour. Great guide who was very knowledgeable in Greek history and art. Very comfortable bus/van. Perfect restroom stops along the way. Self serve restaurants were surprisingly very good. We took this tour after a 21 day Mediterranean cruise and it was definitely the highlight of our trip.

Fun experience - I will say that I don't think that there was enough time allowed for walking around and museum of Delphi. Meteora was amazing and beautiful. I'm glad we decided to go.

Probably a must do if you have a few days to spend in Athens - Seeing the incredible monasteries on the cliffs is an amazing experience. The hotel we stayed in was comfortable and as was the included dinner and breakfast.

I loved it! - Exactly as planned, better! The beautiful sights, and the very interesting and friendly guides. A big bravo to the bus driver too! Well organized, well explained, and breaks to cut long trips. Pension with very good buffet for dinner and breakfast. Bravo and thank you!
The only small weakness: the very cold air conditioning on the bus.

Meteora is magical - Meterora and the monasteries are a must if you are going to Greece.
The guides were very informative and entertaining. The group for the Delphi tour is too big for comfortably getting around the ruins and because we joined a different group to go on to Meterora we were rushed. It meant that we had to give up seeing the stadium and the museum. The smaller group for Meteora was much better.

Good, a lot of travel. - The sights were beautiful but a delay in arriving in Delphi meant we had a very rushed visit, didn’t see all the site and didn’t see anything of the museum. The visit to the monasteries was wonderful.

Poorly Organized Tour - Everything went well during the 2-day tour, with one disappointment. The tour guide finished the Delphi archaeological site tour at 1pm. She gave us 20 minutes to wander around, and asked us to get to the meeting point at 1:20pm. What she didn't tell us was that we didn't have time to visit Delphi museum. If we knew it, 20 minutes should be okay for us to briefly visit the museum.
By contrast, more than one hour was spent for the lunch later.

Missed Delphi Museum - It was very disappointed that we did not have time to visit Delphi Museum while we were there. The Delphi archaeological site tour was ended at 1pm. The tour guide told us that we can have 20 minutes to wander around. By the time we got to the meeting point, the tour guide said that there was no time for us to visit the museum. If she told us earlier, we would utilize the 20 minutes to quickly go through the museum.

Amazing location + not on tour - I was extremely upset when the day before they changed our departure time from 8:30 to 7:35, we barely managed to have breakfast and had to run to the hotel where they would pick us up...

To make matters worse almost 1:00 later we passed in front of the same hotel..
Very kind guide, tirelessly explained the history of Delphi, but only showed us a small section inside the archaeological site and didn't stop talking, giving us only 10 minutes to climb, which of course, was insufficient. In other words, we paid and didn't have time to see the place.
Meteora was amazing because we visited alone at night. Old and very distant hotel. Through the agency, they stop for a long time in a bad store, far from everything, instead of visiting the city and interesting stores. Stops on the road in horrible places for lunch on the way there and back.
The only good thing really was the city, which is incredible and worth the sacrifice...
