Livadia - Livadeia is a town located in central Greece and serves as the capital of the Boeotia regional district. The surrounding area is mountainous, with farming primarily taking place in the valleys. Traditionally, the region has been known for cotton and tobacco production and processing, as well as cereal crop cultivation and livestock raising. The city is also noted for its participation in the Trojan War, allied with Mycenae.

Monastery of Hosios Loukas - Hosios Loukas is a historic walled monastery near the town of Distomo in Boeotia, Greece. It is a significant monument of Middle Byzantine architecture and art and is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, along with the monasteries of Nea Moni and Daphnion. The monastery is located on the scenic slopes of Mount Helicon and was founded in the early 10th century AD by the hermit Venerable Luke of Steiris, whose relics remain there. The main shrine is the tomb of St. Luke, initially in the vault but later moved to the junction of the two churches. The monastery’s wealth came from the relics of St. Luke, which were believed to exude myron, a perfumed oil said to have healing properties.
-
Delphi - After visiting the museum, enjoy some leisure time, perhaps with a refreshing drink at a cafe or a delicious Greek meal at a traditional restaurant, before heading back to Athens.
-
Delphi Archaeological Museum - Proceed to the Delphi Archaeological Museum and explore its vast collection at your own pace. The museum, home to numerous artifacts and relics, consists of about 15 rooms arranged chronologically. It is one of Greece’s principal and most visited museums, operated by the Greek Ministry of Culture. Founded in 1903, it has been reorganized several times and houses discoveries from the Panhellenic sanctuary of Delphi, dating from the Late Helladic (Mycenaean) period to the early Byzantine era.
-
Temple of Apollo - At midday, visit the UNESCO-listed Archaeological Site of Delphi and explore the fascinating ruins, including the Temple of Apollo. The Temple of Apollo, dedicated to the god of music, harmony, light, healing, and oracles, held a prominent position in the Delphic Panhellenic Sanctuary. The partially restored colonnade visible today dates back to the 4th century BC and is the third temple built on the site. The famous oracle, the Pythia, operated within the temple, chosen for its location due to a sacred chasm beneath the site that emitted vapors inhaled by the Pythia.
-
The Tholos of Delphi - An intriguing architectural marvel within the archaeological site of Delphi, the Tholos offers insight into the ancient world and its rich beliefs and traditions. The Tholos of Athena Pronaia is a circular building with a unique architectural design, featuring a ring of Doric columns surrounding a central chamber. Built in the 4th century BCE, this structure served as a sanctuary dedicated to Athena Pronaia, a variant of the goddess Athena worshipped in Delphi.

Arachova - Return to Athens via the charming mountain village of Arachova, located on the slopes of the Parnassus Mountains, where the tour will pause for a brief photo opportunity.
