Great Tour - Fantastic Guide - We had a wonderful tour to Delphi with our guide, Marrianna. She provided excellent insight into the history and significance of the sites, bringing the experience to life. She was also very patient with our group, making sure everyone felt included and informed. The sites themselves were stunning and well worth the visit. Highly recommended!

Worth doing, Delphi is beautiful - it’s a long day - bear that in mind - Delphi is worth seeing purely because of the significance of its history but it is also beautiful with some well preserved aspects. We went as a family with two teenagers, (13 and 16). I think the younger children who were also on the tour struggled a bit with the walking and the length of the coach journey. There are some winding mountain roads and if you are travel sick you might need to think about where you sit on the coach. Things to know: You need decent, sturdy, comfortable footwear and reasonable mobility. The ground is uneven (as you would expect) and very steep at times. Take plenty of water (we went in April and we needed to drink a lot of water) The journey is long. We were staying in Athens and our pick up time was 7:55am but we got to Delphi at 1pm. On reflection we could have got ourselves to the key tours main office in Athens which would have reduced the sitting around waiting as we left the office at 8:40 and it was a 10 minute walk from our pick up point. I would do this next time. Take snacks. We stopped for 25 mins at about 10:45am for a comfort break in a roadside cafe but we didn’t eat lunch until 2:45pm. The restaurant is nice if you go for the included lunch option. We had a choice of Wild Boar, Rooster and Pasta, Beef bourguignon and cheese and vegetable pasta. It was good quality. The coach journey from Athens to Delphi was comfortable. A clean, air conditioned and well driven coach. The guide was extremely knowledgeable and there was a huge amount of information that was very detailed so we dipped in and out a little bit as it was a lot of listening (which is to be expected but I’m mentioning as it is worth noting). My oldest is a huge Percy Jackson fan and is fascinated by all things Ancient Greek. He loved it and listened to everything. I am a UK secondary school history teacher and I found some of it hard going with the level of detail. We stopped for a comfort break on the way home too. We left Athens at 8:40am and we were back just after 7pm. We were in Delphi for about 1 hr 45 mins. An hour of this was walking the site. The rest was in the museum. Lunch was an hour. The communication was clear from the company. I would use them again. It was decent value. I can’t see an easy alternative if you want to get from Athens to Delphi. We are experienced travellers, we often do things ourselves but it was worth using a company as it would be tricky getting there on your own.
