First, you will go up the Hill of the Nymphs, one of the seven magnificent hills on which Athens is built and where the National Observatory is built. Here you will pause and enjoy amazing views of the Acropolis and then return to Pnyx, the meeting place of one of the world’s earliest known democratic legislatures, the Athenian ekklesia (assembly). You will descend the path towards Areios Pagos and the Ancient Odeon of Herodes Atticus. On your way to the aristocratic Dionysiou Aeropagitou Street, you will pass by the theater of Dionysos and the New Acropolis Museum.
    Afterwards, you will make a stop at the Temple of Olympian Zeus and Hadrian’s Arch and move on to see the Evzones and the Parliament, where you take your time and take as many pictures as you want.

Here, you’ll pause and admire stunning views of the Acropolis before moving on to the Pnyx, the gathering spot of one of the world’s first known democratic legislative bodies, the Athenian assembly or ‘ekklesia’. You will navigate the trail towards Areios Pagos and the Ancient Odeon of Herodes Atticus. While en route to the high-born Dionysiou Aeropagitou Street, you will encounter the Dionysos theater and the New Acropolis Museum.

Boys loved everything about the ride and guide - The boys, 19 and 11 loved the experience. They were ready to go again. Gram was too old to go. Especially the Acropolis.
