- Athens - Starting from Flat Tyres shop, we’ ll cycle on the metropolitan Athens bikelane moving to the heart of the city. Kerameikos Cemetary is the first ancient site on our way. - Athens - Starting from Flat Tyres shop, we’ ll cycle on the metropolitan Athens bikelane moving to the heart of the city. Kerameikos Cemetary is the first ancient site on our way. Next up, we are going to ‘get lost’ through the Psirri district. We will get to see the Town Hall, ‘Varvakios’ the traditional and biggest food market of Athens. Through pavement streets of Athens, we ‘ll find ourselves cycling through the unique Plaka district. Reaching Syntagma Square, we will see the Greek Parliament and we will ride though the National Gardens towards our next stops, Zappeion Hall and the Panathenaic Stadium. Leaving the Kallimarmaro we’ll get ride through the Zappeion, and reach the Temple of Zeus and Hadrian’s Arch. A couple of pedal spins will take us to the Museum of Acropolis located right under the sacred rock of the Parthenon. Time for a small break at the Filopappou Hill combined with a visit at Pnyka with panoramic view to Athens. Next stop, the Greek Ancient Agora and Ancient Roman Agora. We’ll ride through the open market of modern Athens in the area of Monastiraki and through the paved streets of Thiseio we will cycle back to Petralona.

Fantastic, covering so many place with great knowledge - This was fantastic, we looked at a lot of options before booking this, Seqways and other electric options but decide to do the normal bike. When booking I struggled to understand why this one had a lot more that it visited, when we started the tour we saw all the other tours and due to the road and amount of tourists they struggle to get around to all the areas we were able to. This really was a highlight of our trip to Greece, our tour guide Stavros has a very in depth knowledge of the areas history and made the experience really enjoyable. I highly recommend this experience

Fun and informative bike tour of Athens - Stavros is the owner and guide. He tailored the tour to our speed and interests. He was knowledgeable and made the tour interesting by taking us to back alleys, flea markets, fish/meat market, and many historical sites. We were mostly on quiet roads that were flat and easy to pedal. There were a few short hills.

Great tour! - Such a great way to discover the City and see all the historical highlights. The guide took us safely through the tour. He was so friendly, kind and had so much knowledge about the history of the City. We really enjoyed it!

History can be fun! - What an excellent way to be introduced to all that Athens has to offer! Stavros is an excellent guide; his knowledge of Greek history is impressive and his enthusiasm is infectious. The biking was not too hilly and Stavros navigated to avoid the worst of the vehicle and pedestrian traffic. My wife and I recommend it highly!

Fantastic bike tour! - The bike tour with Stavros was amazing! Bikes were in good condition, and we got right to it - essentially a full loop of Athens hitting all the highlights. Stavros is extremely knowledgeable about Athens and can literally answer anything. Exploring the various neighborhoods was fantastic! Would certainly recommend.

Greece, gears and gyros- the best way to experience Athens - It was my first time visiting Athens and only had the Sunday afternoon to see as much as i could before a busy few days of meetings. The bike tour with Stavros could not have been more perfect!! Stavros is incredibly friendly and welcoming and his knowledge of Athens was exceptional. The route is easy to cycle, with lost of variety of scenery- from cobbled streets to shaded gardens and a stunning viewpoint stop. Stavros also gave some fantatsic tips on local spots to visit and his suggestion of one of the oldest grillery in town, with the best souvlaki, was spot on! I thoroughly enjoyed every minute and would 100% recommend Flat Tyres to anyone visiting Athens.

Do it! - This was lots of fun and very informative! Stavros is an excellent guide. I love riding a bike but I’m horrible at it and Stavros made sure I was safe and ok at all times. We saw so much in Athens and it was by far our favorite tour over the course of our three day visit.
