Athens Best Experience - WOW...
This is an amazing mesmerising experience, anyone visiting Athens has to go for it.
I did this on my first day in Athens, and it was the perfect start to my vacation; the food, the vibes, the recipes, the location, the host, everything is just perfect.
You learn some traditional greek recipes and thanks to Mariefi; she makes it super easy and fun. 15 min in and u find urself actually cooking ur greek meal.
Mariefi is a great host, she makes sure everyone is participating, considering any food allergies or requets, making everyone comfortable and welcomed.
This is one of those experiences where u spend 4 hrs and still feels u want to stay and that u r ready to go again if they would let u 🤣.
I definitely recommend it for anyone coming to Athens, i would even go further and say; plan a one day trip to Athens, enjoy this and leave.
Thanks Mariefi for such an unforgettable experience 🤗❤.

October 2019 - This was the perfect way to end our time in Athens. Mariefi and Anna were wonderful hosts. They made our last family meal before we headed back to the States extra special. Mariefi and Anna made cooking Greek easy and fun. I would highly recommend this to anyone who loves to cook and/or eat good food! Thanks you for the wonderful memories!

Highlight of our entire trip! (Easter cooking class) - Our experience at Onion Athens felt like more than just a cooking class. Marie-Effie and Anna's energy made the afternoon a definite highlight of our trip.
From the very get go, Marie-Effie and Anna were accommodating even at short notice (only a day in advance!), picking us up from our hotel and providing us tidbits of history of the surrounding neighbourhood. They welcomed us into their naturally lit cooking studio, with Greek music playing on the phonograph in the background, with sizzling lamb in the oven.
We were there for Greek Easter, so our experience was themed accordingly. Both Marie-Effie and Anna were very knowledgeable, continuing to provide us with pockets of cultural Greek customs and personal anecdotes of their childhood Easter experiences. They made our class fun, making sure to involve everyone and it was full of light-hearted banter.
Throughout the meal, they provided us with local restaurants and bars to visit, which proved to be invaluable during our stay in Athens. Overall, the entire experience was unforgettable, and a worthwhile activity that shouldn't be overlooked by any foodie in search of a unique way to round out their trip.
(Thank you so much Marie-Effie and Anna, we're still raving about our session to anyone and everyone who asks about our trip!)

Cooking class - My family had a wonderful time with Mariefi and Natasha. They have a beautiful modern kitchen eqipped with everything needed for the cooking experience. They were quick to adjust the make an adjustment as we dont eat beef so they were able to run out and get chicken for us. We had so much fun as family especially having ouzo as we're cooking. They paired the dinner with a delicious white wine. It was a no rush session and the food was spectacular. My family always trys to do something that is not toursity and this fit the bill.I highly recommend doing this cooking class to further help bring family and friends together.

Fun class - Christina and Maria were both awesome and we enjoyed our time with them. The trip to the market was a hit with our group, and I especially enjoyed Christina’s personal story of her time in Greece and the Greek culture. They had an appetizer and a before dinner drink waiting for us and then we prepared mussaka together along with the fried cheese pies. The food was delicious and a nice Greek white wine was served with our meal. Our dessert was made beforehand - Greek yogurt with a touch of rose petal and a fruit sauce. All of the food was delicious. There was plenty of space in the kitchen and around the island for our group of 5 and the place is clean and very well thought out. We would have liked to learn to make other Greek dishes, but with the time scheduled, that would have been difficult. All in all it was a great experience and we enjoyed it! 🤗
