Amazing cooking in Athens - Our group of 6 booked this cooking class with Dionysia (eat with your Greek cousin) in Athens and we all have a Fantastic experience!!!!
She and her husband and son made us feel like part of the family, we made delicious food, drank delicious wine and laughed all night!!!
We would do this all over again in a heartbeat….thank you so much!!

This was a great... - This was a great experience! I went to Greece with my boyfriend for my 30th birthday and the one thing I really wanted to do was take an authentic Greek cooking class and this class was better than I expected! The gyros we made were delicious and it was so fun learning about the Greek culture! Dionysia and her husband were so friendly and welcoming! I recommend taking this class with them!

Who needs power when you have family, food, AND feta! - I can not recommend this cooking class enough! Dionysius is SPECIAL! My husband and I were on our honeymoon and we love experiencing the food wherever we go! I have to tell this story because it's so heart warming. The day before our tour and cooking lesson, there was a power outage outside their studio and all their power was lost. You think how can we cook without any power but they made it work without missing a beat! If they wouldn't have told us, we would have NO idea. It was one of our favorite memories of our trip and truly so touching meeting Dionysius and her family! You really felt like you were with family and we really value those experiences! Would HIGHLY recommend anyone in Athens looking for a unique and memorable experience!

Absolute highlight…must do! - Dionysia and her husband are incredibly genuine and warm people that I instantly felt like we could be friends. Super clean, well prepped, beautiful space in the heart of Athens (some may not experience since many stay in touristy areas). The food was fantastic. The spicy cheese spread and tzatziki were delicious and the little tips she provided made it next level compare to recipes I’ve followed in the past. My husband didn’t cook but was welcomed in and treated as a guest. We had appetizers (including olives from their own garden) and stories about hard times in Greece and special bread, we had dinner and dessert. It was comprehensive, tasty, with specific insider tips, inspirational, and made me want to teach a class in my hometown about my own cultural cuisine. They even helped us navigate getting a taxi by tapping into family resources. They allow us to select a special time and tailor our experience too. Overall incredible warm humans that will forever be my Greek cousins!

Fun cooking with friends - My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed making a Greek dinner together with this class. The food was fabulous and we were treated like family. I would thoroughly encourage anyone who Is in Greece to complement their tour with this class.

Delicious! - My husband and i have taken many cooking classes during our travels, and this is one we will always remember! Dionysius and her husband were warm and welcoming hosts. The location was easy to find and perfect for a cooking class. Dionysia's teaching style ensures everyone is involved in each step of the cooking process. The gyros we created were delicious and amazingly easy to make. We even learned the secret to why the tzatziki sauce we were making at home never tasted quite right! Armed with the recipes from the evening, we are ready to try and recreate the magic at home for the rest of our family!

Our best time in Athens. Take your cooking skills back home. - We enjoyed our cooking class with Dionysia. It was a big highlight of our trip. She welcomed us like family and made special accommodations. She went out of her way to make sure that we were happy. We were the only ones in our group and got a more personal experience. We had great
conversations and an amazing time. We highly recommend this cooking class to anyone in Athens. We can't wait to take our learned skills back home.

What a Delightful and Delicious Experience! - If I could give this experience more than 5 stars I would! From the pre-class communication to the transportation arrangements before and after, this was one of our best experiences in Athens! There were problems with the electricity and Dionysia and her husband just rolled with it and gave us an amazing class despite the setbacks.
We had just returned that morning from a cruise, and (at our request) she sent a taxi to our hotel to pick us up, and arranged for another taxi to take us back. When we arrived, she made us coffee and then we proceeded to season and prepare the gyros meats, made the pita dough, and prepared the spicy feta and tzatziki. She gave us various other foods to sample: cheese, olives, and bread to taste the spreads. We rolled out and cooked the pitas and then assembled the gyros and ate them. Afterward we made a simple cheesecake dessert.
We are so excited to try these recipes at home. Dionysia made the process so simple and we are confident we can recreate it for our family. We would not hesitate to repeat this class or take a different one and we highly recommend it to anyone wanting a fun and delicious experience in Athens.

Happy Greek Cooking Campers!! - Dionysia is almost effervescent in her enthusiasm for Greek cooking! We had a phenomenal hands-on experience learning to cook pita bread, gyros and the sauces that go with them. From massaging spices into the pork with Greek yogurt, to threading the pork on the upright skewer. to mixing and molding the pita dough, to frying the dough into delicious bread rounds, to squeezing grated cucumber for tzatziki - we did it all almost elbow deep in luscious olive oil all while sipping local wine. Dionysia guided us through the process with humor and detail. Our appetizers and dinner were amazing, and we made it ourselves! Thanks, Dionysia, for a spectacular learning experience!!

Unbelievable experience - What a great experience, from understanding the myths to sharing experiences. Bring pay if this experience was one of the best cooking lessons I have been too, you are welcomed as of you family the recipes and end product is not just extremely tasteful it is one of the best gyros we have eaten around the world. So glad we booked this experience
