Absolutely amazing trip to Meteora - We had an absolutely amazing trip to Meteora! The place itself is stunning, with breathtaking views and monasteries that are full of history. Our driver, Denos, was fantastic—he made the journey smooth and enjoyable, and he was more than happy to take photos for us whenever we asked! Our tour guide, Tinos, was incredibly knowledgeable, providing great insights into the history and culture of Meteora, which really enhanced our experience. However, one area of concern was the pickup outside of the railway station. It was chaotic and a bit unorganized, which could definitely be improved to make the experience even better. Overall, it was a well-organized and unforgettable trip, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Wonderful experience - Wonderful experience. Our guide, Kate, was amazing. Extremely knowledgeable, very helpful, respectful and humorous. Her explanations at every stop were perfect, and she answered all questions. The tour itself was also perfect, with the right amount of time at each stop. Doing the Hermit caves as well as the monasteries is an absolute must. While other reviews said it was not worth it to get the lunch included in the tour, and we did not, we still ate at the same restaurant as everyone else. It was delicious, and reasonably priced. It is a long day, with about 5 hours of driving on each end, but the driving was smooth and the bus well equipped. It’s the perfect day trip from Athens.

Beautiful Monasteries on Cliffs! - Beautiful experience! The sites were amazing and so spectacular! We were so amazed at the scenes we got to witness and see. The tour guide was amazing she was soo awesome and sweet! Totally recommend this to anyone who wants to see a remote place. Bus ride is long… be prepared to read or have an iPad with something to be occupied. There is wifi on bus. The bus stop in the middle of the route has overpriced food. Be wary of what you order.

Well worth the trip! - We started off in Athens about a four hour trip both ways. The bus ride was comfortable (nice, clean with A/C) , friendly bus driver, we stopped half way for a restroom break, and/or a quick bite to eat. After arriving near the hermit caves we had a guide join us. Catarina or Kate was very knowledgeable & shared her personal story. We visited 3 monasteries. All beautiful & interesting. We also stopped for lunch. Lunch was ok, put the trip was wonderful! I hope you have Kate as guide.

Need better guides - Great place to visit but our guide was not the best, which can make or break a tour. Lunch was not the best either. So all the stars are for the site, not the tour.

Frustrated with given pick up location - The e curation itself was great, and very knowledgeable tour guide and driver. The pick up directions were not clear. For anyone that is not familiar with a European city style, it will be confusing. Bus, Street and “train station” are not labeled therefore I almost missed the bus although I allowed myself an additional 20 minutes than what was required. I looked for a small minivan based on the bus we used previous day. Label is on window. Although I was told it’s located on door, I would’ve seen it had I not been looking for smaller bus and on a different street.

Fascinating and beautiful, but comercialized - Our guide, Katarina, was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. She and our bus driver, Costas, were very kind and helpful. We truly enjoyed learning the history of the caves and monasteries, and the mountains and scenery all around was beautiful. However, it was a very long drive, about 9 hours round trip, and we found the monasteries to be much more comercialized than we had expected.

Stunning views!! - An absolutely amazing place to visit. It takes all day but is something so unique it is worth the time!! Tip- you will not be allowed to eat or drink on the bus. It is a bit confusing on the front end- figuring out which bus you are on and what to expect- the drivers will not tell anything, the guides will meet you in Meteroa and then you will have information. Check the email before you go so you know the plan for the day
