100% Yes - it was a favorite spot for all 3 generations of our family. - This tour was one of the highlights of an already packed and fabulous trip. We went as a three generational family and all thoroughly enjoyed it. The hikes were challenging for nana, but she pushed through and was glad she did. The sites, guide/driver Clement/Kristof were wonderful and full of information. We have been telling everyone about this tour and our regrets for not knowing about the charm of Kalambaka before we travelled. Next time we will make a special effort to stay in Kalambaka as well. FYI's for future travels: The suggestions below are out of the control of the tour company but might be helpful in your future planning. 1. Do not go on a national bank holiday our bus trip back to Athens took hours longer than a normal trip would because everyone was also returning to Athens (likely the same issue with Thessaloniki travel). 2. Apparently, the monasteries' have their own schedules so the monasteries you see are based on that. The only day all monasteries are open are Sat and Sun so keep that in mind when booking or do prior research to understand their schedules. Both of these things are out of the control of all tour groups so it won't matter what company you choose; you will encounter the same scenario. Meteora Thrones is the company we would choose again and again. Thank you so much nana, mom and the boys loved it.

Meteora Day Trip with Clement - The day tour to Meteora was an amazing experience that my girlfriend and I will never forget. We got to stop at the best views on the trip and see crazy rock formations. The monasteries were insane and it was very interesting to learn about their history. Our tour guide, Clement from Toronto, was the best tour guide we have ever had on any kind of tour. He was very knowledgeable of the area and was super fun. He made sure to talk to us at every stop and made a personal connection with his clients. I highly recommend this tour if you want to see as much as possible in a short one day trip.

Great Tour! - A comfortable large bus took us from Athens to Meteora, and at Meteora we transferred to a smaller bus that took us around the monasteries. Our guide, Maria, was amazing and arranged our time well so we could enjoy Meteora to the fullest. I highly recommend this worthwhile tour.

Loved it! Cannot recommend enough! - Absolutely adored this tour. I cannot recommend seeing Meteora enough it was so majestic and beautiful. The tour group, Meteora Thrones, handled everything so well and so professionally. If you are staying in Athens, then using this group is a MUST, as transportation and logistics are all provided at a very reasonable price too.

Exceptional experience and scenery. Great guided tour. - Meteora is stunning visually with the geology of the area and the monasteries perched on top.of impossible rock mountains. Even more spectacular than I imagined from my research. Clement was a great guide giving an interesting and well paced tour. A very enthusiastic guide about his local area who made sure all interesting spots were seen at the best time and best photo opportunities were included. We were physically not able to climb to all monasteries but I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would recommend the tour just for how mind blowing the scenery and history is. There were bathrooms available approx. 2 hourly on the coach and some monasteries had public bathrooms. Drivers all great. I felt very safe and coaches well maintained. Downsides - the coach from Athens was cramped for 5'11" people on a 4 hour trip (knees pressed into seats in front) but have found most coaches in Greece do have tight seating. The food options during trip were not that appealing. Suggest taking your own snacks. Despite these I would still highly recommend the tour. Absolutely stunning.
