Meteora with the best company - It has been very exciting and spectacular. The Guide did his best to please all our concerns and questions raised on the tour. We had a mishap with the driver of the bus to the outbound as he was during a journey with his cell phone and helmets on, we drew his attention and rectify .

Meteora Thrones 2 day tour from Athens - The tour was well organized. The transportation was comfortable, punctual and provided wifi. The itinerary was interesting and fun. The guides were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The bus to and from Athens stops halfway, at a restaurant for 30 minutes.

Amazing tour of Meteora - Excellent tour with Meteora thrones. Very organised. Sunset tour with guide Anastasia was outstanding! She was brilliant and very knowledgeable about all aspects of Meteora! She was amazing! Very good hotel in Kalambaka with helpful staff. Overall, a fabulous tour, visiting 4 monasteries and other areas of interest at Meteora. Panoramic tour also very good. Highly recommend this tour with Meteora thrones. Very professional, friendly and organised. A must see!!! Absolutely beautiful! Thank you Meteora thrones!

Great cultural tour - Great tour must do when you visit Greece. Absolutely amazing. And the guides were great. However, you need to make sure you know when they’re picking you up and dropping you off. On the second day we got dropped off at 1 PM as the tour was over and Bus back to Athens was at 5:30 PM. So make your plans accordingly, but it’s a must do.

Stunning sights, beautiful experience - The sunset tour was beautiful, but the walking with Christos was the best part. Everything was well organized and everybody was really friendly and helpful.

Well worth the time. - Really enjoyed the trip. Our guide, Stacey, on the first day was really fun and engaging. All the guides had great English, and knew tons about the area. The monasteries are very pretty and the sceneries are truly breathtaking. We showed up during a heat wave so it was very hot but the bus had good AC and only a few monasteries included a lot of walking.

Sunset tour is amazing, second day pretty repetitive. - Very well organized with clear instructions for departure and pick up. Sunset tour was amazing and worth the overnight stay.We had our room at the Kaikis hotel and it was great too. They allowed us to leave our luggage after checking out on the second morning. We chose the hike in the morning but it got cancelled due to heat, and we ended up on another bus tour that was very repetitive. Guides were friendly and knowledgable and recommended us some great restaurants. A bit too long of free time before pickup back to Athens on the second day. Overall the sunset trip made the trip worth it, I just wish it was less repetitive the second day.

Excellent Tour Site but Limited Itinerary - Rating is low for the following reasons: 1. The tour itinerary is not fully disclosed until a couple of days before the trip and only then is the buyer aware that there are 4 hours on Day 1 and 4 hours on Day 2 with no scheduled activity. If you tour on the weekend be prepared that most stores are closed Saturday afternoon and Sunday all day. So there is nothing to do. 2. The tour guides do not enter the monasteries with you so there is no historical information given once you enter the grounds. They do a nice job of providing history while on the bus but nothing once you enter the monasteries. 3. On Day 2 there is a morning tour and then you wait 5 hours before the bus picks you up. We had asked the tour guy to inquire on taking a public bus so that we could return 4 hours earlier than scheduled. They were kind enough to inquire on availability but we weren’t told they did not make the reservation. So when we got to the public bus station, we found out they did not have room for us. So we then had to go back to our original hotel and wait the 4 hours for the pick up. 4. On the positive side, the tour guides were professional, helpful and informative and the historical sites were amazing. My recommendation is that the itinerary be fully disclosed so that the buyer can make an informed decision.

2 days itinerary is well planned. The only downside is we did not get a tour guide with passion and knowledge to share w - The trip itinerary is very good with the first day doing sunset tours and the 2nd day doing monasteries visits. Drivers on both days are very polite and friendly. However I am very disappointed with the first day sunset tour guide (Nicholas?). He has very limited information about the history, background etc of Mateora and the monasteries to share with us. Some of us had to eavesdrop the next team guide’s explanation.

Visit Meteora but not this tour - Meteora is a gorgeous place and definitely worth visiting. However I don't recommend this tour. The tour was poorly organized. We were asked to pick one of two options and given little information for us to make the choice and decision had to be made on the spot. Also the second day the tour ended at 2pm and guests were left "stranded" in town for 4 hrs with no where to go before the bus picked us up at 6 for return to Athens. We arrived in Athens at 11 pm but the trip didn't have to be that long. Also one of the tour guides was outright rude. The first day we were dropped in front of the hotel with no orientation about the town. I asked the guide where we could get lunch. He answered in a loud and gruff voice "I don't know. Go look yourself." That didn't sound like a welcoming attitude to tourists.
