Great all day tour to Delphi and Thermopylae - Peter was a great guide and driver. He arrived promptly to pick us up even when we made a last minute request to bump up the time and gave us great info on Greece and the sites we were visiting. He had cookies, water, and hand sanitizer ready for us in the car and even handed us an iPad that had a great video on the sites we were visiting. He even got me some coffee on the way out of Athens. The lunch spot was great too...great views as he reserved a table for us right next to the window overlooking the mountains. Can't say enough good things about Peter and the tour...amazing experience. Delphi was amazing and Thermopylae was good too.

Our guide, Taz, picked us... - Our guide, Taz, picked us up at our hotel in Athens. He was on time and friendly, and he made us immediately comfortable as we began our long day with him.Through each part of our journey, he explained the history and significance of what we were seeing. His knowledge spanned antiquity, the Roman Era, the time of Alexander the Great and the Ottomans - even current events. He was a wealth of knowledge and had clear mastery of all aspects of the subject matter. He took dozens of picture of us, with his phone, which he sent to us later, so we could add them to our own photos of the day. The restaurant where we stopped for dinner was fantastic. They offered local fare, with an beautiful view of the Gulf of Corinth. The food was delicious, the portions were perfect and the service was great. As an American, the cost for dinner was far below what I would have expected from a similar experience at home. This was a first-class excursion, with an amazing guide, and I would recommend it to anyone wanting to experience Athens and the surrounding areas via a private tour.

Delphi and More - Tas gaged what we were interested in seeing, then adjusted the tour accordingly. Tas was well versed in the history of Greece and made the tour interesting and fun. By the end of the tour we felt we had made a new friend.

Delphi and Arachhova with Tas and AGT. - The entire process was seamless and excellent. We were picked up at the correct time, very friendly and knowledgeable driver(Tas) guided and informed us about every location we visited. Tas was polite and very responsive. The car was clean and comfortable. We usually do group tours and this was our first private tour. It was absolutely worth the money.

A Truly Great Tour - Our driver, Tas, communicated with us and promptly picked us up at our hotel in Athens. The car was extremely clean, and the driver was very friendly, professional, and prompt. Waters and a snack were provided. Tas had a wonderful personality and was full of passion for the job. As we drove into the rural mountains of Greece, on our way to Thermopylae and Delphi, we stopped at numerous photo opportunity locations. Throughout the trip, our driver provided us with his historical antidotes to make the journey educational, interesting and exciting. We were dropped off at the historical museum in Delphi having already pre-purchased our tickets through Ancient Greece Tours. We spent about an hour in the museum and then another hour and a half wandering the ruins of Delphi. It is truly beautiful and should not be missed. We’re comfortable clothing. You are climbing the side of a mountain on stairs and ramps. After we were done at the ruins, we were taken to a beautiful restaurant overlooking the Gulf of Corinth for dinner. We were then taken back through the mountains to Athens with a few more photo opportunities along the way. If you’re looking for a day trip into the mountains to see Thermopylae and Delphi from Athens I highly recommend this tour.

Some Aussie Flair with deep Greek knowledge - The best way to get out of Athens and into the interior. The vehicle was clean and comfortable, with plenty of water and snacks provided. Our driver, Tas, was knowledgeable and informative. We talked all the way out and back and it never got boring.

Fantastic Delphi Private Tour - Well, we booked the private Delphi tour and were wonderfully looked after by Yannis, who if you read the website lives up to his bio, and more. A lovely man, a true professional, great driver, and very knowledgable and passionate about everything - literally everything! We travelled in the luxury minivan, really comfy, great views of the landscape en route, the drive is obviously long but well worth it. Delphi is a truly magical place. The scenery, the peace, the history, and to get there - the drive, its well worth the effort, even on a grey day. Made more special by the knowledge Yannis shared with us - we will always remember your stop at the viewing point looking down on the olive groves that seemed to go on forever! Yannis you made this trip all the more special. Thank you. The lunch stop, rabbit stifado delicious, the brief moving stop at the monument to the many too many villagers remembered from WWII. We were looked after, with cookies and water, brollies to hand, even info from Yannis to help us better negotiate the museum and archeological site….we wouldn’t hesitate to book another tip. The company communications prior were spot on, there is flexibility to accommodate your day, and yes a private tour may be a treat but you get to experience the day all to yourself. Well worth it. Take the company’s advice - they know what they’re doing!

It’s Not worth of your... - It’s Not worth of your money. It’s driving to destination only. It is next to impossible to cover both destinations within 10 hours with driving and doing sightseeing as they are claiming . Driver was impatient as there was delay due to traffic near the end.
