Fantastic Delphi Private Tour - Well, we booked the private Delphi tour and were wonderfully looked after by Yannis, who if you read the website lives up to his bio, and more. A lovely man, a true professional, great driver, and very knowledgable and passionate about everything - literally everything! We travelled in the luxury minivan, really comfy, great views of the landscape en route, the drive is obviously long but well worth it. Delphi is a truly magical place. The scenery, the peace, the history, and to get there - the drive, its well worth the effort, even on a grey day. Made more special by the knowledge Yannis shared with us - we will always remember your stop at the viewing point looking down on the olive groves that seemed to go on forever! Yannis you made this trip all the more special. Thank you. The lunch stop, rabbit stifado delicious, the brief moving stop at the monument to the many too many villagers remembered from WWII. We were looked after, with cookies and water, brollies to hand, even info from Yannis to help us better negotiate the museum and archeological site….we wouldn’t hesitate to book another tip. The company communications prior were spot on, there is flexibility to accommodate your day, and yes a private tour may be a treat but you get to experience the day all to yourself. Well worth it. Take the company’s advice - they know what they’re doing!

Wonderful time! Thanks to our driver Peter! - Such a fun day! Here for our honeymoon and totally recommend. We love history, and if you do too, you will enjoy. There’s some beautiful sights also. Peter was our driver and he was such a joy, so knowledgeable of the history of the sites. Very hospitable with cookies and water for us. I hope we can request him again. We were able to take our time in each place. Enjoy a meal with a beautiful view and got back in time. We had a wonderful time! Thanks!

Hermes is clearly a... - Hermes is clearly a theater buff and Grecophile whose knowledge of both the history and mythic gods of Greece is rich and deep. He smoothly guided us around the hordes of tourists and found spots to elaborate on what was in front of us. I highly recommend both the Acropolis and Museum tour.

Fantastic day out - It was an absolutely brilliant experience, made possible, in no small measure, due to our driver and guide Peter. From the time he picked us up from the hotel, Peter ensured that we remained comfortable and relaxed. He was articulate and engaged with us throughout the day. Recognising that me and my wife were not sprightly youngsters, he never rushed us and allowed us to enjoy proceedings at our own pace, without compromising on the time allocated for visiting the various points of interest in the tour. Peter was completely conversant about the history of the places we visited and regaled us with anecdotes on the events that happened centuries ago and even provided us snippets of useful information through videos in the iPad. Peter provided us endless bottles of cold water and a lovely box of cookies that we enjoyed along the way. On our way back he treated us with coffee in a lovely cafe by the highway. The weather was gorgeous, the places we visited were fascinating but the icing on the cake was Peter's absorbing company. Will strongly recommend this tour.

Great Day Out of Athens - Excellent day out with Yannis. Be sure to request him if you want an in-depth understanding of Greek history and mythology surrounding the Persian War and Delphi. The drive through the mountains to the various sites was spectacular and Delphi itself was amazing. In addition to his great knowledge, Yannis was very accommodating and fun to be with. And the lunch stop was both scenic and tasty. In all, a great day out of Athens.

It’s Not worth of your... - It’s Not worth of your money. It’s driving to destination only. It is next to impossible to cover both destinations within 10 hours with driving and doing sightseeing as they are claiming . Driver was impatient as there was delay due to traffic near the end.

The ruins are the highlight. Worth the long car ride if that’s what you want to visit - For a family trip, especially with young kids (under 10) and/or elderly members that have difficulty walking on uneven surfaces this was not the best option. The driver is very long and the best parts is the ruins. If you can’t enjoy the ruins this is a day long car ride and all you get to see is the museum. If you love history and ruins this is worth the long car ride, but with those that aren’t interested or can’t make it to see the ruins it’s not worth the time or expense.
