Fantastic experience. Felt like a VIP celeb! Definitely would recommend HP Tours - Hellenic Private Tours - our friend recommended Frank’s company to us.
The private tour was fantastic!
As there was just two of us travelling, the chauffeur picked us up in a Mercedes E350…felt like a VIP celeb!
Chauffeur was knowledgeable, friendly and skilled, He was super attentive too… always have chilled bottled waters ready for us and even brought umbrellas for us to use.
We also booked an English speaking guide for the trip. She was fantastic, knowledgable and passionate to showcase to showcase her country.
The tour was immaculately planned and we were on time for everything.

Book this tour! Take the guessing out of learning about Athens. - Michael was attentive and knowledgeable. It was awesome to have someone waiting at the end of each location. Made it easy! He picked us up at the hotel and immediately we began learning about Athens! We had lunch at a very local Greek taverna.

Book it now - This experience was undoubtedly the highlight of our entire holiday. Our guide, Jimmy, made it truly exceptional by going beyond the typical tour experience and offering real, off-the-beaten-path insights into Greece, both ancient and modern. When I mentioned my curiosity for Orthodox churches and my desire to find a Saint Mark icon, Jimmy didn’t just follow a standard route. Instead, he took us to a hidden local spot that you’d never find online, where he personally helped me select the icon and even negotiated the price on my behalf—a gesture that made the experience feel authentic and deeply personal.
Beyond that, Jimmy’s help went above and beyond when we realized we had mistakenly purchased the wrong ferry tickets. Without hesitation, he stepped in and resolved the issue for us. Every recommendation he made, from the quietest churches to the most authentic local spots, was absolutely perfect, offering real insight into the rich traditions and contemporary life in Greece that only someone with deep local knowledge could provide. If you're looking for a guide who can take you beyond the tourist trails and into the heart of Greece, Jimmy is your guy.

So glad we did this! - Great tour! We were able to hit all the highlights no problem. Guide was both flexible and helpful. Native English speaker as well. Suggested a stop we had not thought about and we were grateful for it. Nice to be able to move at our own pace. We could probably have worked out getting between different places, but it would have taken us 2-3 days to see everything we were able to see in one day. Highly recommended.

Perfect Day in Athens. - Our driver did an excellent job. He was very knowledgeable about the city and its history. We hit all the highlights. He took us to an authentic Greek restaurant. Food was great. Even had time for a little shopping!

Worth it to beat most crowds - Elias was an AMAZING driver and guide. Took us to all the main areas in Athens, gave us a great food recommendation for lunch. Anywhere he couldn't come in with us to give us a formal tour he explained the history of the place and gave recommendations for inside before letting us go in. Also worked with our schedule. Well worth the money
