100% Recommend! - This was such a fun alternative to a "traditional" tour! Our trainer/guide for the day was Evi and she was fantastic. She is so knowledgeable about not only the history of the Olympics, but other history as well and she delivered the information in an interesting way so we were never bored. Evi also gave us tons of tips about what other sites/places we should see. She was friendly and personable and had a great energy about her. Given her extensive knowledge and her obvious passion for fitness, she was absolutely the perfect guide for this tour. I do want to point out that this tour does involve exercising and you need to wear some type of tennis shoes and comfortable clothes you can move in (workout clothes are great). There was an older couple on the tour with us and they had booked their tour through a travel agent, who apparently didn't prep them about the tour, but they were game to try everything anyway and we all had fun. You will warm up/stretch, walk/jog/run a little, and learn how to do some of the ancient Olympic sports such as learning how to throw a javelin, how to throw a discus, how to shot put, and how to perform a traditional long jump. It was very cool to run on the track of the Panathenaic Stadium (you can walk if you prefer). This is a really unique way to learn more about Greece and the Olympics and it was a highlight of our trip. We definitely recommend this tour- if you're on the fence, just book it! I also highly recommend Evi as your guide if you're lucky enough to get her!

Fun morning experience - This was a truly fun way to spend a morning and learn about the Olympic experience. Yolie (sp?) made our time together, fun, interactive and insightful. My 11-year-old daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed the tour. The culmination of the tour in Olympic Stadium was also incredible.

Gold Medal Morning - Really cool opportunity to learn about the original Olympic events from 1896, and actually try them out. Have never held a javelin nor discus, made it special. The stadium was spectacular, don't miss on the opportunity to go up the ramp to the museum portion. While small, it is really special. Our trainer/guide was such a special part of the day!!

Highly Recommended Fun Experience! - We had a really great morning with Loli! It was only the two of us, so it ended up a private tour. Loli was very knowledgeable about the history of the games which is of course the primary reason we booked! She was also great at coaching us through the events - we are both sporty and took to the activities pretty easily but we can definitely see how she would be great with people who weren’t sporty. This event would definitely be for anyone! Super fun for anyone who wanted to learn about the history of the games, see the stadium up close and personal and also get some activity in!

Great experience! - This was such a great experience. Dean was enthusiastic, knowledgeable and good fun. As others have said, this tour really brings the Olympics to life and the activities are held in the spirit of the Olympics - ie it doesn’t matter who wins, it’s the taking part! The stadium is incredible and although you can take photos from outside, nothing beats being in there and running on the track as thousands of others have done before. Probably our favourite trip in Athens

Olympic Games Family Friendly Tour - Fun, Family Friendly Tour that includes an easy workout while learning about the history of the Olympic Games in Athens. Includes a beautiful park walk and five events of the Pentathlon (javelin, discus, shotput, long jump, and running) and finishes in the 1896 Olympic Stadium. Sports equipment is modified to ensure safe fun for all. Our guide, Dean, knew lots of Olympic history and did a great job engaging all of the guests. After the tour, take the free walking tour of the Olympic museum in the stadium to cool down and see torches from past Olympics.
