- Anafiotika - We visit a wine bar in the slopes of Acropolis where “Anafiotika” neighborhood is located. We enjoy a glass of wine in an area full of beautiful little houses decorated with bougainvillea flowers and built in the 19th century!
- Aiolou - We walk through one of the main shopping streets of Athens’ Historical Center, also full of picturesque cafes, bars and restaurants!

Join us for a stroll through the scenic lanes of Athens’ ancient city ‘Plaka’, where we’ll visit 3 unique local wine bars, each possessing its own narrative and aesthetic. We don’t just sample wine, we learn about each type, their production methods. We’ll taste 6 individual varieties of Greek wine, all cultivated and crafted in Greece by local vineyards, each selected for its diverse taste and origin.
What’s on the tasting menu:
Six servings (75ml each) of wine per person.
Meze (Greek appetizers) provided at every wine bar (rusks or salty sticks, cheese, olives, tomato).
Tables reserved at all establishments
You’ll be accompanied by an experienced, knowledgeable and friendly guide, who will be there to assist with anything you may require!

There is no wine I haven’t loved in Athens! - Chris was an awesome tour guide! He gave us a personal experience that was tailored to our own personal needs! We had an amazing time.

Athens Wine Tour - Our guide, Elena, was a pure delight. My husband and I were lucky enough to have a private tour with her. She was articulate, informative and funny. In addition to tasting and learning about wine and the local Greek cheese, she shared information about Greek culture. The tastings were held at three different wine bars and the gentlemen who led the wine tastings were very informative. I highly recommend this tour.

Exactly what we were looking for - Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and easy to talk to. Lots of fun stories to share. He gave good recommendations for the rest of our stay as well.

Lovely Wine Bar Tour - My wife and I had an absolutely lovely time on our small group wine tour. Our guide George was extremely knowledgeable about the area and the wine bars that we visited. 3 stops was perfect and the wines were delightful. Highly recommend.

10/10 recommend!! - We were so shocked when we got to the start, and it was just us two and our guide, Vagelis! They provided a bottle of water and ponchos for the tour. We had an amazing time wine tasting and getting to know Vagelis. Definitely recommend!!

Excellent wine tour! - This wine tour was excellent!!! Our guide was personable and friendly. She had local knowledge and explained the different neighborhoods we ambled through. Our first stop was with Constantinos a level 3 advanced sommelier. He answered all our questions and explained how to taste wines. We made 3 stops and the wines were delicious. This tour is a great way to get a feel for Athens and drink delicious wines. It’s a win win!

Wine, food and great company - Most memorable moments (apart from the consumption of the wine samples) was the conversation with our guide which provided a fascinating insight into their life and the city.
There was also food aplenty! Probably because there were only the two of us and so the three sharing platters - one at each of the tasting venues - filled us up completely with cheese, meats and crackers. It was a great afternoon/evening :)

Great wines and people - Had a excellent time going across Athens trying different rosés, whites, and reds at various wine bars. Also had great cheeses, meats, and paired foods. George and our various sommeliers and guides were all great.

Delicious and intimate! - My mom, her friend, and I had the best time on the small walking wine tour. It was the first activity we did after arriving in Athens that morning. Even jet lagged we had a great time. The wines were delicious and the walk was very pleasant (even during a heatwave!). I particularly enjoyed our first stop where the sommelier gave detailed instructions on the process of wine tasting and what characteristics to look for and also history of the grapes. Our guide, Telis, was fun, personable, and provided suggestions for the rest of our stay. It was easy to tell he has a wealth of knowledge and was eager to share. If we had time, we would join their other activities.
