A magical experience in Athens - We took part in this tour one Saturday morning together with another friend of mine. Our guide was the Basilica which introduced us to the magic of Greek gastronomy. She was full of excitement and energy, ready to give us all her knowledge. We visited the Varvakio Marketplace, tasted authentic Greek flavors and felt like we were walking around the capital with a friend. It was a very special experience because we are both Greeks who live abroad and we wanted to live Athens with the eyes of a visitor. I love the Devour culture that supports small ⁇ and local communities and economies! Thank you very much Vasilik and Devour for this amazing experience in the centre of Athens! I and Maria.

Simple, easy, informative - value delivered - Great way to spend a morning and early afternoon. Guide was informative and friendly. The first stop is for some traditional donuts but do yourself a favor and don't over indulge in spite of how good they are. Each food stop was enjoyable. Not gourmet but that wasn't the expectation either. Each place we ate at was wonderful. My only "criticism" is that the last place we ate at was a heavy meal and mentally, I was thinking dessert - first world problem. Great value here.

Absolutely wonderful experience! Best way to start your trip! - I really can't say enough good things about this Ultimate Food Tour and our tour guide, Vasiliki. This was the perfect way to start off our 10-day trip in Greece. We were 2 families traveling with 2 teenagers and none of us knew a lot about Greek food. This helped us all get familiar with a variety of foods and made our girls, even the two pickiest, more comfortable about trying new foods. Vasiliki also taught us about Greek life, including the language, customs, and various neighborhoods around Athens. She even helped us reserve a restaurant to watch the sunset in Santorini later in the week! She's a gem and we plan to stay in touch with her for future travels.

Amazing food tour with Helen - Me and three of my friends went on the Athens Ultimate Food Tour lead by Helen and we had an amazing time. The food was outstanding and Helen's knowledge of the food and the city just elevated our experience. She was very friendly and helpful and made the experience for us. 10 out of 10 would love to do another tour with her.

The Best Way to Start Your Athens Trip - Ultimate Athens Food Tours - This was a wonderful tour, made all the more special by our guide Ioannis, a local with great knowledge of the food, history, and even fun facts that he quizzed us on and gave prizes! I've done many tours, and the array of food and the tastings were excellent, and we really got an insiders view of small businesses and lifestyle/food culture. From the sweet Loukoumades (Greek donuts) and Greek coffee to the fresh Feta and mouth watering Souvlaki, it was a delicious and fun experience. Devour does an excellent job and I highly recommend this tour, and the other tour I took with Theo in Koukaki which was in the evening and also spectacular (another review on that tour is on Trip Advisor, too).

A great mix of foods and drinks - We have been in a number of these tours and this was one of the best. Malpo was great company for almost 4 hours and took us places we would've otherwise walked past. She adapted the tour for the one of us who didn't eat meat. There was so much food that we didn't eat everything that was put in front of us or again for the rest of the day. Tip is don't have much of a breakfast beforehand.

A wonderful afternoon with Melpo! - DO NOT MISS THIS TOUR! My husband and I LOVE Devour tours and take one in each city that we visit. We always try to do it on our first full day as it is the BEST way to learn about local customs, local foods, and support, truly, family owned businesses. Athens was no exception! Melpo was amazing! She was so kind and knowledgeable and really took her time with us. We explored the meat and fish markets which are DEFINITELY a sight to see. I am not posting any pictures so as not to spoil the fun. We had SO much food that my husband and I couldn't finish our lunch! Everything was delicious, everything had a reason behind it, and Melpo was awesome at navigating the streets of Athens! Please, if you do anything, DO THIS TOUR! I promise you will not regret it!

Flavours of Athens - What a great food tour. Our guide Theo was very knowledgeable on the food and history of the area. He also made sure that our children (11 &13) enjoyed the tour as much as the adults. So many stops (9?) The masticha bar was my favourite drink and the pitta place, Hoocut the kids favourite.

Incredible Food & Culture Tour with an Athenian! - I showed up to the Devour food tour solo, ready to try some incredible Greek food, and meet some interesting people, and did just that! I was really lucky that the tour ended being just me and Vasiliki. Vasiliki was very enthusiastic and knowledgable. Born and raised in Athens, she was able to share stories about the culture and the food that made my experience to this beautiful unique. Walking through the meat and fish market had me imagining my life as an Athenian - it was like nothing I'd ever seen before. The food was delicious, but the stories and company were even better. Would definitely recommend :)
