After meeting with our Wine Expert outside the Acropolis Metro Station, the journey will commence with a delightful 2-hour exploration of Greece’s grapes and wines, featuring a wonderful tasting of wines and various products from across the country.

With evidence of wine production dating back at least 6,500 years, the art of winemaking is deeply embedded in Greece’s traditions, religion, and customs. Historically, wine has always been one of the five primary elements of the Greek diet, alongside water, salt, oil, and cereals. Greek wine was extensively exported throughout the Mediterranean, from the prestigious wines reaching Italy during the Roman Empire to the various wines shipped from Greek ports in medieval times.
