Atins - Departure from Barreirinhas in a 4×4 vehicle that will take us to one of the ferries to cross the river
Preguiças that gives access to the Lençóis Maranhenses National Park (PNLM). The hard trail route
around 1:30 am, we’ll pass by Atins beach and see where the Preguiças River meets the
Atlantic Ocean. We then drive 15 minutes to Canto do Atins, the starting point for our
15-minute walk (approximately) to Lagoa da Tempo, stop for a bath and rest. At the
return we continue to the Restaurant (Optional: Sra. Luzia or Sr. Antônio). After lunch (not included)
rest in hammocks and free time to enjoy the region. Arrival in the city at 5 pm.

Great and wonderful Experience - The place is really unbelievable and this is the greatness of nature. Must visit for everyone who comes to Brazil and definitely we may not get this experience anywhere in the world. Special thanks Jurema Tourismo who are experts in organising different trips in Lencois Marenhas and most importantly they have a staff who can assist and communicate in English (this is a must need for those who do not speak Portuguese) Thanks ...
