Great tour - Loved hearing the Civil War and Atlanta history. Henry was the best host. Very friendly and informative. We truly enjoyed our entire day. It was well worth not having to maneuver to all these sites by ourselves.

Great Day in Atlanta. - We are from Australia and have experienced private tours in a number of countries. Henry did a great job especially navigating the busy Atlanta traffic to get to all the spots on the list. His knowledge of Atlanta's history is broad and we entered into some in depth conversations about the US and Georgian culture. We had a great day.

Great Tour!! - Henry was one of the best tour guides we've ever had! Such a wealth of knowledge about history and Atlanta itself, we felt like we got several tours packed into one. I highly recommend both Henry and the tour!

Civil War and Battlegrounds Tour of Atlanta is a misnomer. - We were disappointed in this tour largely because the tour name is misleading. We expected a detailed batlefield tour with an indepth explanation of the Battle of Atlanta. Our tour guide, Henry, was very affable and well-meaning, but not very informative regarding the Civil War battles around Atlanta. The only part of the tour referrable to the Civil War was the Kennesaw Mountain Museum where we saw the excellent Ken Burns movie- but that took 38 min and we had no time to explore the museum at all. We saw one Civil War era house but were not interested in seeing the 2 others. A trip to the cemetery was short, but worth seeing. The stop at the Cyclorama was worthless- the movie was all about the history of the painting and not about the Battle of Atlanta- very uninteresting. We did enjoy seeing the neighborhoods which were originally the outskirts of Atlanta where the battle was fought. We opted to forgo the long ride to Stone Mountain which is a park and unrelated to the Civil War. A better Tour Title would be Atlanta Then and Now.
