Delicious food tour! - Two of us took the Curb Market and biscuit class with Arielle the day before Hurricane Helene hit Atlanta. We got lucky! Arielle was EXCELLENT, it was immediately apparent that she knew her food and really enjoyed sharing her knowledge. She explained the Market's long history, and we really enjoyed how she put Southern food and their origins into historical context, tracing their "roots" from all over the world. Who knew peaches came from China?! The food stops were great, a good variety of what the Market offered, and there was plenty of time to also check out the whole place too. The biscuit class was easy and fun - our work was delicious! Highly recommend. Thank you Arielle.

A Little "Biscuit" of ATL - Joy, our tour guide, was an ABSOLUTE DELIGHT for our experience. Her passion for ATL made the experience even better. The best experience was the biscuit making. The sample servings were absolutely divine..... from Ethopian Vegan Greens to "true" soul food. We left this experience fully satisfied and with homemade biscuits!!! You won't be disappointed.

A Flavorful Journey Through Atlanta's Sweet Auburn Curb Market - The 2 Hour Historic Market Food Tour and Hands-On Biscuit Class at Sweet Auburn Curb Market in Atlanta was a delightful culinary adventure. Our tour guide, Courtney, was a wealth of knowledge about the market's history and the local food scene. As we explored the vibrant market, we sampled a variety of delicious treats, from savory meat pies to sweet peach jam. The hands-on biscuit class was a fun and interactive experience that allowed us to learn the secrets of making the perfect Southern biscuit. If you're looking for a unique and delicious way to experience Atlanta, I highly recommend this tour. It's a great way to discover the city's rich history and culture while indulging in its delicious cuisine.

Great tasty tour! - Great little tour! Courtney, our tour guide was FANTASTIC - so helpful and enthusiastic! We celebrated a birthday and really enjoyed ourselves. Great food from various countries and terrific historical information throughout. Loved learning to make biscuits the right way--and so delicious! I learned so much and can't wait to make them myself now.

Best Food Tour in Atlanta!! - I had an amazing time on the food tour with Unexpected Atlanta! All of the food tastings were delicious, and I loved learning about the rich history behind the market and the dishes we tried. The tour was well-organized and informative, and I appreciated how they highlighted and supported small business owners along the way. It’s a fantastic way to experience local flavors while learning more about the community. Highly recommend!

Excellent Market Tour / Biscuit Class - Great way to beat the heat in August in Atlanta while getting to learn about one of Atlanta’s oldest markets. Arielle balanced telling us about the food, history, and running us through the biscuit making well and it was great to learn about a market in Atlanta that people I know who live here don’t even know about. They were able to accommodate me even though I don’t eat dairy. Highly recommend

Municipal Market - The biscuit making was the best part and learning about the history of food. It was also nice to walk around and see what food stands had fresh food and meats. Our tour guide Javier was the best!

Worth it! - From beginning to end, our tour guide, Joy, shared her knowledge of the market and food items. She made us feel a part of the community market that has been servicing patrons in Atlanta since the 1920’s. The food tour was delicious and educational. Capping the afternoon with our own personal, southern biscuit class was a perfect finish. Some folks on the tour were locals who learned as much as those of us from out of state.
