Atlanta Wall Art Tour with Awesome Guide, Arielle - We had an awesome time on this tour with our fabulous tour guide, Arielle! She has a background in art and history, and she had so many interesting stories and examples that wove a tale about the history and art in Atlanta. We were lucky to see the fresh wall art as the Forward Warrior Project 2024 had just happened the week prior, and were able to see a couple of artists still working on their murals! We started next to Little’s Grocery, walked along with plenty of stops for photos, went through the Krog Street Tunnel, and ended at McCray's on the Beltline with an included a drink & waters (choice of beer, cider, or soda), markers/coloring project, and a surprise souvenir. Besides my family of 5, there were only 2 other guests, so it was a small but good size tour (they allow up to 14 guests). We tipped in cash at the end of the tour, and the only thing I regret is not getting a photo with our guide, Arielle! We highly recommend this tour and guide! :) My favorite Atlanta artists are: Joe Dreher @joekingatl Lela Brunet @lelabrunetart Lisette Correa @arrrtaddict (a fellow Puerto Rican!) Magdalena O'Connor @magdalenaoconnor Suggestions: - Parking was tough to find, so ride-share is a great idea. But we had fun driving scooters back to our car as this tour does not go in a loop. - Use the restroom beforehand, though there is one at the restaurant at the end of the tour.

Best way to discover Atlanta street art :) - I happened to be the only person on the tour today, so it turned out to be an awesome private tour. Ariel was such a lovely energy and the whole tour was like walking with a fellow art nerd friend as we discussed potential meaning of various artworks we came across. Couldn't recommend this tour highly enough. Go for it.

Cool activity to do with your teen/tween! - Wow! What a fun experience. My son and I went as tourists in our own town. We learned so much from our wonderful guide, Leigh. She was super knowledgeable, friendly, and engaging. I loved how she facilitated conversation amongst the teens/tweens in our group. We both left feeling inspired and proud to call Atlanta our home.

An Immersive Tour in the Beautiful Street Art - This was the perfect event to appreciate the Street Art and learn a little history too! It’s possible to go solo or with a group, the host was awesome in accommodating everyone. She assured we all had the opportunity to take photos along the way, and the activity at the end was refreshing and thoughtful. If you’re able to walk a nice distance, it’s very cool and worth it.

go and experience some Unexpected Walking tour fun! - So much fun! teenage niece visiting and decided to take a leap and sign up for a tour. I was worried the teen would want to quite but in fact she loved it. We walked, listened to history of the art and neighborhood, had a yummy homemade cola drink, and even did an art project. Price is great for all we did. We were able to sit down in the shade while our amazing tour guide Ariel ( graduate from SCAD gave us insights into the history of the neighborhood so the 1 mile walk was 7800 steps and wasn't bad at all. Even got to meet one of the mural artists who happen to be eating lunch near us. Our tour group was fun, some also from atl and some from out of state. We drive by these pieces of art all the time so it was wonderful to understand their history. We came away with a new appreciation and wanting to take another tour in our city.

Highly recommended fun, educational tour - Amazing tour! I loved learning a bit about the history of Cabbage Town/Atlanta and spending time viewing, learning about, and discussing some of the incredible public art there, including loads of large murals by local artists. Our guide Leigh was also superb at keeping things enjoyable/interactive and giving us tools for thinking about public art that we can take with us to any street art in any city. Highly recommend!

Perfect close-up view of Atlanta - We loved the Cabbagetown Street Art tour with our brilliant and hilarious host, Leigh! It was the perfect way to spend a Saturday getting to know our new city. We learned SO MUCH -- not only about the history of one of Atlanta's central neighborhoods, but also about street art as a means of expression, connection, and community building. I had no idea all of this was here -- it was like an enormous outdoor art gallery. We saw hundreds of murals, and Leigh used her academic background to help us develop our artistic analysis skills! She also made it easy for us to build friendships with the other tour participants by talking about our neighborhoods and creating our own community-specific art. Highly recommend this tour!

Leigh’s tour was an excellent blend of street art & history, which gave so much context to the works of art we examined. It was such a nice afternoon activity for visitors and locals!
