Omar was a wonderful... - Omar was a wonderful guide. We always felt safe as he drove us around busy and sometimes narrow streets. He was also a very learned historian who brought to life the black history of Atlanta.

Perfect Intro to Black Atlanta History - I booked this tour during my first trip to Atlanta, specifically wanting to see more of Black Atlanta than I would get where I was staying. It was informative and engaging, thought-provoking, and fun! Omar is a fantastic guide, generous with his time and information, and flexible based on the group's needs. Highly recommend!

Touring Atlanta with a family member and learning about the ATL made this a memorable experience. - My wife and I have taken many tour in the USA, Canada and various European countries and we could say without any hesitation that this ranks in the top three. The host made it feel more life a close friend or family member showing you a city that he is fond off. The history and the range of personalities associated with the historical context of Atlanta was fascinating. The whole experience from history, important architecture, businesses, murals, universities and colleges, diners, shops, store owners, and providing opportunities for his guest to share photos via an app made the experience value for money. We enjoyed our experience and would do it again. Thks much.

Has Potential - Let me start off by saying that the tour guide (forgot his name) was accommodating ( I was running 10 minutes late) and knowledgeable of the Atlanta area. I booked this tour last minute for a weekend birthday trip and wanted to escape the fall weather in Rhode Island. I booked it thinking it would showcase the Black history in Atlanta, both past and present. What the 4 hour tour showcased was the "Ghetto" of Atlanta. From garbage everywhere, graffiti, and druggies, we spent the entirety of the tour in areas that I wouldn't particularly feel safe in day or night and I'm a Black guy who grew up in Philadelphia. The only part of the tour that I felt was worth the money was the 30 minute stop at the MLK site, which you can drive to yourself. My advice to the person in charge is to redo the whole tour itinerary because what I experience was not worth $148

Not value for money - It was a bad tour. The tour guide just shared the history of buildings and no cultural context was shared. The 4 hour tour included two long stops at two food outlets and one stop at a shopping place and these were unnecessary.
