Having a guide is far better than touring on your own - Great tour and great guide. Our guide was very knowledgeable and personable. The tour was great on its own, but I give additional thanks to our guide for going above and beyond to have successfully engaged a friend who initially had less interest in a historic tour. (This is one example of personable) For one example of knowledgable-in the museum, our guide pointed out things we would not have noticed. I observed people not on our tour who overhead his conversation with us and started following behind us at times to take second looks at things that had been pointed out to us by our guide. (For example, our guide knew to open drawers to show and discuss things that we would have otherwise missed). Too many examples to list, but I enjoyed the tour and recommend to others.

AWESOMEST HISTORY EXPERIENCE - First of all Henry was the best guide. He knew his history and was informative. He was very kind and so pleasant and entertaining. We felt as though we walked back in time and can feel all emotions with our hands on experience of this history. To actually be where all of this happened, was very eye opening. This experience was the best to learn more about our history. We recommend this for all and hope that your eyes and heart will open more just as ours did. A great reminder for all: Be respectful. Always be kind. We're all human, nobody is perfect. Learn from mistakes.

A personalized experience - Henry was a great guide, he was open to adapt the tour and his explanations to match our interests. He picked us up from the hotel and got us to spend the next 5 hours very much entertained and learning a lot about Atlanta's history

A Learning Experience - Tour guide was very knowledgeable about all the sites. He loved history!! Learned thr detail of how black people were treated worse than animals(actually the animals fared better!). I would recommend this tour to gain a better understanding of plantation life, battle of Atlanta and MLK museum complex.

Humbling Experience - Thank you so much to Henry for an incredible day! It was so nice to have a more personal experience and be able to discuss so many things about Atlanta and it’s history! Seeing the scene used to film black panther also made my day! I have so much more love for the A after this experience

Great overview of highlights - We covered a lot of ground, literally and topically, which I appreciated. I would have liked a little bit more time at the Smith plantation and the Kennesaw battlefield to see the actual site, not just the museum displays. The Ebenezer Church was open so I got to experience that when we returned to town. A great day out and about.
