The Best of the Best - David, was an excellent tour guide for our trip. He was very knowledgeable about the businesses and the building. Since it was just me and my husband on the tour we felt very pampered!

Ponce City Market—10 out of 10 recommend - This was an interesting, delicious combination of history, culture, and oh my goodness, the food! David, our tour guide, was personable, friendly, and knowledgeable. He did a great job of pacing the tour so we didn’t feel rushed or too full for the next item on the tour. I loved the short walk on the beltway and all the history of the Ponce City Market and the surrounding area. The food was off the chain! There was a wide variety and the portions were generous. David made adjustments to the menu to accommodate our group’s tastes and everything was incredible. 10 out of 10 highly recommend David and the food tour

Amazing tour guide David, great food, and history! - David was our tour guide and we had a small group of 3 (my sister, me, and another person). He was an AMAZING guide. This tour incorporated the food culture in Atlanta, and also had a historical tour piece to it. We enjoyed five food items inside of Ponce City Market, and walked outside the building and along the Belt Line to learn about the history. For food items, we first had a half burger with either a beer on tap or, they provided me with a cider as requested. Other food items included a tikka masala naan wrap, a cuban sandwich, gelato, and an eclair! The food was excellent, but the burger and gelato were a highlight for me. As for the guide part of the tour, our guide, David, is an Atlanta native and was extremely knowledgeable about the food culture, and history. He was also extremely polite and went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our time. He went to each food vendor to make sure food was ready ahead of time and so we weren't waiting, and also brought us the food, and cleaned it up for us. For the historical part of the tour, he brought photos to illustrate what the market used to look like, and was able to answer all of our questions. Lastly, we were introduced to the Director, Christie, of Food Tours Atlanta, who was also very kind and knowlegeable. I 10/10 recommend this tour and it was definitely a highlight of our time spent visiting Atlanta!

Learn while you Lunch! - What a fun way to lunch and learn about a little about Atlanta’s history. Our guide, David, showed us the history of the former Sears distribution center that has become a standout food and shopping mecca. The food selections David arranged were delicious and varied. Walking along the Beltline is a nice break between mains and desserts! Definitely worth the time and $.

Have a hard time choosing what you want to eat among dozens of choices? This food tour is for you! - Had a wonderful time with David taking us through the history of the Ponce City Market! Ate some delicious food at H&F, Botiwalla, and El Super Pan, and got a taste of the history of Atlanta and the Sears Roebuck building across the decades. David was super amicable (even in the rain!) and knowledgeable and would certainly recommend the tour to others. Yum yum yum.

Delicious food, excellent guide - Our guide David made the tour for me — he was personable and knowledgeable, and while sharing the history of the building and surrounding area, he used props including photos and a repro Sears catalog from the early 1900s.
