Amazing tour guide David, great food, and history! - David was our tour guide and we had a small group of 3 (my sister, me, and another person). He was an AMAZING guide. This tour incorporated the food culture in Atlanta, and also had a historical tour piece to it. We enjoyed five food items inside of Ponce City Market, and walked outside the building and along the Belt Line to learn about the history. For food items, we first had a half burger with either a beer on tap or, they provided me with a cider as requested. Other food items included a tikka masala naan wrap, a cuban sandwich, gelato, and an eclair! The food was excellent, but the burger and gelato were a highlight for me. As for the guide part of the tour, our guide, David, is an Atlanta native and was extremely knowledgeable about the food culture, and history. He was also extremely polite and went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our time. He went to each food vendor to make sure food was ready ahead of time and so we weren't waiting, and also brought us the food, and cleaned it up for us. For the historical part of the tour, he brought photos to illustrate what the market used to look like, and was able to answer all of our questions. Lastly, we were introduced to the Director, Christie, of Food Tours Atlanta, who was also very kind and knowlegeable. I 10/10 recommend this tour and it was definitely a highlight of our time spent visiting Atlanta!

Learn while you Lunch! - What a fun way to lunch and learn about a little about Atlanta’s history. Our guide, David, showed us the history of the former Sears distribution center that has become a standout food and shopping mecca. The food selections David arranged were delicious and varied. Walking along the Beltline is a nice break between mains and desserts! Definitely worth the time and $.

Have a hard time choosing what you want to eat among dozens of choices? This food tour is for you! - Had a wonderful time with David taking us through the history of the Ponce City Market! Ate some delicious food at H&F, Botiwalla, and El Super Pan, and got a taste of the history of Atlanta and the Sears Roebuck building across the decades. David was super amicable (even in the rain!) and knowledgeable and would certainly recommend the tour to others. Yum yum yum.

Delicious food, excellent guide - Our guide David made the tour for me — he was personable and knowledgeable, and while sharing the history of the building and surrounding area, he used props including photos and a repro Sears catalog from the early 1900s.

Excellent Tour - We loved our tour of Ponce Market, the history of the surrounding area, and the beltline. David was a wonderful host, and we truly enjoyed his insight, knowledge, and love of the market. I felt like I had a new friend at the end of two hours. Also, we appreciated the tour operated with a small group. I have visited Atlanta a lot but this market was new to me and David noted tons of cool artifacts. The market was vibrant, young, and beautiful. David was a gracious host and made sure to check on preferences prior to the tour. He made a modification of a spicy item. These modifications enhance the experience sad there was no food wasted as a result. This tour had two main, delicious items, history with a chance to walk off those items, and then ended with two desserts (one was a takeaway). Will we go back? Absolutely! We have been on the Krog Market Tour and loved it. We are visiting that tour again in July with spouses. And plan to go back to Ponce tour again with more friends. You are a tour company that listens to their guests, modifies, and delivers.

Great time! - The Food Tour guide, David, was so knowledgeable and generous with sharing so many cool tidbits about the history of the Market and the surrounding area. The food choices were wonderful (maybe the best burger I've ever tasted). The other participants in the tour were fun and we had nice conversations! Highly recommend!
