Wonderful Day Trip - Pick up from our accommodation was on time and our driver was a very safe driver. Our tour guide/driver in Ayers Rock was informative and the organisation of the BBQ was great with plenty of food and drink. A long day but we’ll worth it.

Wonderful day at Uluru with BBQ in the sunset - Visiting Australia from Europe, my childhood dream of seeing Uluru with my own eyes came true, thank you Emu Run Experience! The whole day was organised very well, from pick up in the morning to drop of at night. I would like to mention the coach driver (on 25th Sep 2024, apologies, forgot your name) who has been nothing but outstanding, from driving us from Alice Springs to Yulara and returning us safely home after a 5-6 hour night drive in the Outback, to entertaining us with local historical facts. Yaz also did a good job showing us around the National Park. The highlight of the day was without a doubt the BBQ dinner at sunset. I will forever cherish this day.

Incredible story; views; learning experiences - Amazing storytelling by Yad! Great bus service from Miguel. What can you say about Uluru. Incredible! We were lucky to have rain and see it flow down the rock. The clouds parted for sunset viewing from the dunes. Great BBQ! I so appreciate the kindness shown to the Anangu at the BBQ; very inclusive and warm to them.

Excellent experience - Absolutely amazing trip. The tour guides were excellent. I would recommend going when it’s not extremely hot out. Visiting in September was a good time of year

Great trip - Well organised. Great food, bus driver (with many tales to tell) and guide. You have to see Uluru in real life to understand how big and amazing it is.

Exactly as described - This is a very long day. The tour is as described. If you want to see Ayers Rock and not drive yourself from Alice Springs, this is a good option. Our tour guide Yad Brar was good and kept the group on track and gave good information. The BBQ was fine, included beer and wine and was well paced.

A Big Day but a long day - Started with the Whistler (aka Scotty) collecting us from our accommodation at 0700 spot on time, collected a few more passengers and we were off. Scotty had plenty of useful info about the history of Alice and our destinations. First stop Erldunda Roadhouse (great spot, fabulous coffee, great array of souvenirs and an Emu Pen), if you want coffee get in the line quick as they are always busy. We continued on to Yulara where we had 20 minutes to buy lunch, etc (my advise take your own snacks). Also where our guide Yad joined us, and we headed to The Rock. Here we did two short easy walks and Yad shared some local knowledge and stories. After the walks we stopped off at the cultural centre for an hour (way too long) and enjoyed an ice cream. The highlight for me was the sunset bbq, food and hospitality was amazing and the views incredible and is my reason for my star rating of 4.5 stars. I certainly recommend this experience. Once the sun went down it was back on the bus with Scotty and our trip home. Scotty thanks for the sugar hit, was very much a bonus. Most of us had a snooze or two, and Scotty make sure we all got off at the right place. It was a long day but if you are time poor I can certainly recommend this type of tour and even though I have criticised some small points, I would go on this tour again if I had the chance. Some suggestions for Emu Run: Yad was a fabulous very informative guide but he needs to relax and remember we are all adults and don't need to be told when we can and can't speak (it was rude in my opinion) or when we can take photos (and I am not referring to cultural reasons, this I understand and unlike most of the tour group respected this request). I know you need to stick to a timetable but try a little reverse psychology. Steal some time from the Cultural Centre and donate ten minutes to Erldunda and Yulara. Half an hour at the centre was more than enough both Erldunda and Yulara are busy and everything including the bathroom takes way longer than you expect. Seating at the BBQ - don't go and put the red tables smack bang in front of the black tables, it impacts the view. Or at least change the red tables to the same direction of the black.

Very Informative Day Trip - Lovely coach drive to the rock. Driver Charlie shared lots of information about the area as we travelled out from Alice Springs. Our tour guide around the rock, Yad, was brilliant, so much history. Sunset BBQ was perfect. A great experience and well worth the visit.
