Highlights

Maungawhau / Mount Eden - The first stop of your tour will be the iconic Mount Eden volcano. See the crater and learn about the volcanoes of Auckland and its first inhabitants.
Arataki Visitor Centre - Waitakere Ranges - Enjoy the view back to Auckland and admire some of the Maori carvings at this view point.
Karekare Falls - After arriving at Piha, enjoy a short hike to Karekare falls.
Piha Beach - Enjoy the view from the lookout before proceeding down to the beach. Enjoy a walk along the beach to The Keyhole and The Gap (tide permitting).
Soljans Estate Winery - Enjoy lunch with wine or beer at Soljens Winery or Hallertau Brewery before returning to Auckland. Note that a tasting is included but lunch is at your own expense.

Overall Amazing Experience! - So glad we picked this excursion while in port in Auckland. Harriet, our tour guide was fabulous. Very friendly and a great way to see the beautiful sites around this area of New Zealand. Our favourite stop was Piha Beach. With only a maximum of five guest (in our case only 4 of us), we had our own personal tour guide we made it all the better!

A small group, personalized tour, Excellent - Harriet was very knowledgeable about the area, and about the wildlife and the plant life. She made us feel welcome and she was very friendly. The tasting at the brewery that she took us to, that was included with our tour,was a nice surprise.

Great Value and Time - Harriet was a wonderful guide. She was very friendly and shared her experience with us as being a native to auckland. I enjoyed all the stops we made along the way and the wine tasting was a fun experience. I mostly appreciate Harriet driving 30min back to our hotel after she arrived home to bring my phone to me after I left it in the van. Thanks for a wonderful time!
