Many Interesting Sights in Auckland. - The recorded message gave good information on all the places we visited on the bus. We enjoyed getting off at the sights we found interesting and getting back on to visit a new place. We would have appreciated better directions to find the bus initally.

Great experience - I enjoyed the tour, especially the Auckland Museum and Baston Point. The tour buses were comfortable. The commentary was OK

Suited our needs - Got to Auckland in the morning after a horrible 13 hour flight. We were able to buy tickets from a gentleman at the first stop of the bus. We spent the next two hours riding around and may have taken a little nap. The audio was easy to understand and informative. Since our tickets were good for 24 hours, the next morning we rode to Bastion Point for a short hike to admire the views.

Auckland - Great way to get an overview of the city. Two routes showcased most of the city easy to use and book

Think Twice - Probably the most unreliable Hop on / off bus service I have ever experienced. If there is a timetable- ignore it- have twice waited well over an hour for a bus which is planned to run at 30 minute intervals. First day bus - waited over one hour in the rain to get a brand new bus without working commentary. Please don’t misunderstand. The sites visited are wonderful such as Bastion point, Auckland sea life , mount Eden, Eden Park stadium, All blacks experience. Did most of these walking between stops owing to the unreliability of the service. Not convinced that this experience represents good value when Auckland has a good Train and Public Bus service to get around albeit without commentary/ history of locations which refers back to our first day experience of no commentary and steamed up windows.

Not a lot to see between... - Not a lot to see between red and blue tours. Seemed to be a degree of repetition involved especially in traffic.

Chaotic & poor - Chaotic and poor quality. Long queue, poorly managed, waited about 45 minutes for a full bus to arrive. Hardly any commentary onboard, learned very little about the city or its sights. In the end I got off and walked back. Not recommended.

Abysmal - don't waste your time and money! - Quite the worst hop on hop off bus tour I've ever experienced anywhere in the world. Very long queues, miserable staff and total chaos from start to finish. Not helped by the rain, but eventually having secured an inside seat in the lower deck of an open top bus it was completely unacceptable to discover that everyone inside gets drenched in any case from water pouring through the roof from the open deck above. To add to the misery the commentary is dire, unengaging and thoroughly boring...not helped by the fact there isn't much to see in Auckland anyway. No headphones provided, commentary is only over the bus speakers so the usual suspects with little respect for others just talk (or should that be shout?) over it for the whole 2 hours. Total waste of money. Don't waste yours.

Confusing - It was very confusing we had no idea the bus was changing to the blue line we spent too much travelling a route we did not want to be on.

Disappointing - It is an inexpensive way to visit destinations like the Zoo, Museum etc.. But a waste of time if you just want an overview of the area. Most of time was spent stuck in traffic or sitting at traffic lights. There was very little historical or cultural content.
