Wild waves and fun times - Right from the beginning Capt. Peter’s experience and knowledgeable made of an exciting trip on the bay. Food great, I recommend the lamb. They hand you a beverage soon as possible, I had many more, wifey had the wine, me the passionfruit Cocktails. It’s a truly memorable experience for anyone that’s in Live with Water, and NZL. Definitely a trip I would do again, especially the part where where 50 degrees sideways in the Harbour with waves spraying your face, and the Scene where you holding each other like Jack and Rose…. lol. DO IT

Wonderful evening - Wonderful evening. Great crew - very friendly and helpful. Food was delicious and catered for my husbands dietary needs, which is no mean feat. It was lovely to be on a sailing boat out in the harbour - because we were eating it was a gentle sail, but that felt perfect for the occasion.

A cold but beautiful night! - Food was really yummy and way more than I expected. Captain and skipper were super nice and gave us suggestions for things to do on land. The boat ride was also longer than I expected too, a great deal for the amount you get. It was cold so make sure you bring warm clothes!

Wonderful adventure Auckland dinner cruise - This October 1st sailing adventure was wonderful! Seeing the harbor and skyline lights at night was magnificent. Lucky enough to enjoy a beautiful sunset! The food was very good too. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating to our every need….blankets, photos taken, hot drinks, or dinner down below. Glad I included this in my Auckland experience!

Awesome Sail in the City of Sails - Very nice sail. Food was great, the skipper and crew were awesome. And the sailboat was very comfortable. Enjoyed the time - I would highly recommend this sail!

Commentary? What commentary? - The weather was good, the crew assistants were excellent, and very attentive. The food was great. Obviously it was cold, but we were warmly dressed and blankets were provided. I was disappointed in the fact that the overview for this cruise states: "Set out aboard a sailing yacht from Viaduct Harbour and learn about Auckland and its iconic sights from your captain. Listen to entertaining and informative commentary from your experienced captain." We purposely took this trip so that my overseas friend could learn about Auckland and the iconic sights. Although polite when spoken to, the Captain offered nothing at all. If we asked what something was, we got a short response and no more. After dinner we just went up and down the harbour, killing time to the point that we were bored and just wanted to get off. Nice music playing - but we had no clue of anything we were looking at. That was most disappointing, as the overview is misguided.

Skip the meal - The cruise was great and crew (Peter, Anika and Alex) were fantastic. The food was disappointing at best. We were also held up more than 15 minutes waiting for late passengers. There should be a clear policy that if you are not present at scheduled sailing time, you forfeit your cruise. It was upsetting to be stuck in the harbor and miss the sunset because of inconsiderate passengers. The captain did offer to compensate by giving those who were on time free beverages.
