- Auckland Harbour Bridge - A team of 1,000 workers took four years to construct the bridge. Made of structural steel and reinforced concrete, it spans 1.2 kilometers across the Waitematā Harbour. The bridge reaches a height of 64 meters above the water at its highest point, at the top of the arch.
