Excellent tour and lunch - The tour guides — bus driver and Hobbiton guide — were excellent. Such an enjoyable day. We never felt rushed through. Lunch was huge and delicious, no need for dinner afterwards.

Journey to Hobbiton - Really felt like you are in middle earth with the hobbits! Realistic Fantabulous lunch buffet as well! Bring raincoats or umbrellas, in October it rains one minute, then shines the next.

Fantastic - Loved all areas of the tour. Lunch was also very good with good variety of food. Tour guide very good and tour allowed us to take time to view certain aspects of the hobbit town.

Great Tour - Booked this tour to help cut down on the planning side of visiting Hobbiton, and it worked out great! The bus left on time and early in the morning, so we had to skip breakfast. Would recommend bringing a snack along. Our driver was great and let us sleep all the way down, and helped us figure out where to go when we got to Hobbiton. The tour through Hobbiton moves quite quickly, so if you are in a large group--like ours was--it can be hard to get pictures in places or listen to the tour guide at every stop. Weather was great and going in to the hobbit hole was lots of fun. Lunch was well made and solid fare, if a bit on the bland side. The apple crumble was delicious. They run the buffet well so that there is no waiting in line forever and you have time to eat. The only drawback is there is very little time to actually look at the gift shop. We had a bit of time in the morning, but I didn't look too much at it since I thought we would have time in the afternoon. After the tour and lunch we only had about twenty minutes to visit the toilet, get drinks/water from the cafe, and visit the gift shop. It was quite rushed!

Great tour - This was an amazing tour. They have all the timing between groups planned to the minute, to keep them separated. We never felt rushed, and had plenty of time to explore each area. Lunch was delicious. Can't wait to rewatch movies to pick out all the hobbit homes.

Exceptional experience - Stunning experience and made extra special with Marty and Hannah who really rallied to get some unexpected battery issues sorted for us in a jiffy. They were punctual, polite, entertaining and just wonderful humans to be around. Would recommend this one to anyone looking to do the Hobbiton tour.

An unforgettable trip to the Shire - The ride was comfy and full of interesting tidbits, and the tour of Hobbiton was just magical. If you're a fan, nothing I could say would give you any unique perspective or anything to look forward to - you already know it's a must-visit. If you aren't a fan, well, go watch the movies and become a fan.

It's Ok! - The tour in The Hobbiton set was amazing, except the lunch wasn't delicious at all and the driver rushing us to eat like come one it's a buffet you have to q and settle in first but he told us that we only have 45 minutes to eat our lunch and it's already 12:05 when we arrived. apart from the food wasn't delicious and we have to hurry because he said " you walk back to Auckland if we weren't on time"
