It takes approximately 3 hours. - Te Puia - Come face to face with the biggest, naturally active geyser in the Southern Hemisphere Pōhutu Geyser, and enjoy the up-close experience with the New Zealand Kiwi, in our brand-new Kiwi Conservation Centre. Be mesmerized by exploding mud pools all throughout the valley and gaze at beautifully crafted Māori-made artwork and sculptures visible throughout Te Puia.
It will include cultural performance a Pōhiri (Traditional Māori Welcome), Waiata (Song), Mōteatea (traditional chant), Poi and Haka.
- Volcanic Hills Winery - Take the Skyline Gondola to the tasting room. Jump onboard Gondola cabins and experience spectacular views of Lake Rotorua, the city and steaming geothermal vistas.
