We’ve designed this tour to showcase Auckland’s amazing waterfront. The majority of the ride is on the flat, on dedicated cycleways – so it’s a great option for riders who are looking for an easy ride! The electric bikes make it super easy. It’s a short, easy ride that is suitable for all abilities. If you haven’t ridden for a while, or perhaps feel a little nervous riding in a city, it’s a particularly great option for you. And it’s a great option for family fun too! There are some many awesome things to see and do in Auckland’s city centre – why not join us on The Easy Rider tour as part of a fun-filled family day?
- For your enjoyment and safety, groups are small and personal, so a maximum of 6 riders per group, plus friendly guide
- Minimum age 14 years old (teenagers of 14-15 years old must be accompanied by an adult).
- Minimum rider height is 5 foot (152cm).
- Adult pricing applies to all travelers.
- Closed toe shoes are required. Sports gear not necessary, casual clothes are fine but dress to the conditions please.
- Free storage available for small bags at the city centre departure point.
- The tours run rain or shine, you will be provided free use of a bright and comfortable rain jacket, if you need one.
- Our electric bikes are designed with a maximum weight capacity of 250 pounds (113 kg).
- We recommend you bring sunscreen - the sun in NZ can be very harsh.
- You may also wish to bring a bottle of water with you for the ride. You can store that in the bag on your bike. The is also a water fountain near our departure point - if you need to fill up your water bottle.
- Whilst we welcome solo riders, this experience requires a minimum number of riders booked in order for it to go ahead (2). If it’s cancelled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll either be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.
